  3.              DMP support site INFO
  4.  
  5.     Do you have a BBS and would like to become official DMP support
  6.     site? If so, read this file and fill out the form in the end of
  7.     the text.

  9.               1. What is required
  10.  
  11.     First of all, you must always have the latest version of DMP
  12.     within 7 days from release. Easiest way to get it is via
  13.     Internet FTP service, Internet DMP-mailing list, or SBC-net, but
  14.     if you don't have access to these, you must either download it
  15.     from some other support site, or ask some friend (with e.g.
  16.     Internet access) to upload it into your BBS.
  17.  
  18.     Secondly, DMP must be a free file! You should not "charge" for
  19.     downloading new DMP. I don't mean money, but "ratios" or
  20.     "credits". It's OK to take money from your users to keep up the
  21.     BBS (paying phone bills etc.) but do not charge for DMP.
  22.  
  23.     And then you must create a "DMP-alias" which means that ANYONE
  24.     can log into your BBS with the name "DMP" and password "DMP" (or
  25.     so) and will automatically get the latest version of DMP if
  26.     he/she wants. All normal transfer protocols should be supported.
  27.     You should inform about this possibility BEFORE logon screen.

  29.     Also, your BBS should be open 24h and should have at least a
  30.     modem capable of 9600bps.

  32.              2. What do *you* gain

  34.     New users!
  35.  
  36.     My Finnish support sites have got many foreign users because
  37.     they are official support sites. You can also expect to see more
  38.     users in your own BBS!
  39.  
  40.     Your BBS' info will be published with every new release of DMP
  41.     in this file (SUPPORT.DMP). So you will gain publicity.

  43.                    3. Limits
  44.  
  45.     I can't accept many support sites within same area (e.g.
  46.     southern Germany should only have one BBS), so be quick!
