  1.    Whoop It Up! Fanfare is a collection of multimedia applications for
  2.    Windows 3.1. The collection consists of four programs, plus a set of
  3.    animated screen savers. Included in Whoop It Up! Fanfare is-

  5.    Whoop It Up! Version 2.0

  7.    The popular program gets better! Whoop It Up! assigns sounds to Windows
  8.    events, and features the ability to assign a unique set of sounds to
  9.    each Windows application.  Events are grouped as System Events (Startup,
  10.    Shutdown, Stop Sign Icon, etc.), Generic Events (Application Startup &
  11.    Shutdown, Resize, Move, etc.), and Application Events.  The Application
  12.    Events are the same as the Generic Events, except the Application Events
  13.    can be customized for each Windows Application.  Dos applications cannot
  14.    be customized, but will play the Generic Events.  You can also assign an
  15.    event to randomly select sounds from a sub- directory.  Whoop It Up!
  16.    supports both Wav and Midi files.

  18.    Wave Editor

  20.    This program is a fantastic 16 bit stereo Wav file recorder and editor.
  21.    Wave Editor sports many advanced features including echo, filters, fades
  22.    and transforms.  You can insert wave forms into a file, and cut and
  23.    paste between sections.  Wave Editor has a very easy to use interface
  24.    that uses VCR-like controls for fast forward, reverse, record and stop.
  25.    The program was designed for the recording professional, but is easy
  26.    enough to use for casual use.

  28.    Yakkity Clock

  30.    This is the ultimate clock for Windows!  Announces the time from every
  31.    1 minute to every hour.  Includes both male and female voices.  Yakkity
  32.    Clock has pre-recorded alarms which can be set to go off at a specific
  33.    time.  Or you can select a wave file for the alarm.  There are options
  34.    for displaying the time in the icon text and to "pop to front" when the
  35.    alarm goes off.

  37.    Yakkity Monitor

  39.    This program checks system resources and disk space.  If they fall below
  40.    the customizable levels a voice announces "Low system resources" or "Low
  41.    disk space".  There are options for a continuing alarm tone, keep on top
  42.    and show system information in the icon text.

  44.    Yakkity Savers
  45.  
  46.    These are a collection of screen savers that feature humorous animation
  47.    and sound effects.  These include "Mice in Motion", "Flowing Matrix",
  48.    "Nagging Shrew" and others.
