Doom Picture Viewer
v 0.96 - 1/31/94
Programmed by DJ SKI
Run this in the same directory as your DOOM v1.1 registered
DOOM.WAD file.
Up Arrow - moves back one picture
Down Arrow - moves forward one picture
Home - moves to first picture
End - moves to last picture
T - Toggles 5x3 tiles display for floor/ceiling pictures
ESC - exits!
This finally views those 10 full screen pictures. Silly me.
They were in 320x200 after all! (duh)
The way Doom displays the walls and floors/ceilings are
completely different. You will be able to tell when you get to
the floor pictures - they are the last ones and they are all
64x64 pixels. All the other pictures are of varying sizes.
When you are viewing a floor/ceiling piece, you can hit T to
tile the pictures in a 5x3 pattern on the screen. So you can
see how it looks in the game (pretty much).
Next step is to export and import in PCX format. Just who the
heck uses LBM format anyway?!? :)
