  18. Noted your bulletin about OS/2 et al.  I just received the OS/2 stuff
  19. the other day.  I would fully expect that PKZIP 1.0 will be released
  20. with both MS-DOS and OS/2 versions!  BTW, here is some tests of PKZIP
  21. 1.0 alpha:

  48. As you can see, PKZIP 1.0 Alpha is compressing up to twice as
  49. fast as LHARC, but moreover is compressing better than LHARC
  50. in every case.  Also, the extraction times are up to 5 times
  51. faster than LHARC too.
