  9. The Press Kit Tools setup contains:
  10.  
  11. Quicktime 2.1.2: Required to view interview sections
  12. (Note: Quicktime 3.0 will not play the selected files.)
  13.  
  14. Windows Media Player (full): This version of the Windows
  15. Media Player includes an MPEG decoder which is 
  16. necessary to view the trailer and tour sections. If your
  17. Windows Media Player cannot currently play MPEG files,
  18. you will need to install this version.

  20. You can install both of these players from the startup
  21. screen of the Press Kit.

  25. Screen Resolution
  26. ====================================================

  28. The Press Kit is best viewed at a display resolution of 
  29. 640 X 480. To change the display resolution on your 
  30. computer, right-click anywhere on the desktop and drop-down 
  31. to Properties. Click the Settings tab and move the
  32. slider to the left to 640 X 480. Make sure that the Color
  33. Palette setting is at least 16-bit (thousands of colors).

  35. You may change the settings back to their original state 
  36. by following the same procedure. Some computers allow you
  37. to change screen display "on-the-fly" from the toolbar.

  41. Press Vault Section
  42. ====================================================

  44. The Press Vault section (accessible from within the Press
  45. Kit) contains materials for journalists to download for use
  46. in print and as reference: game and character background text 
  47. files; team biographies; photos; screen shots; concept art; 
  48. renders, etc.

  50. The Ultima Ascension Press Vault contains three setup types:
  51.  
  52. Typical: Full install with artwork (approx. 114 MB)
  53. Compact: Game/team text info only (approx 125K)
  54. Custom: Allows you to select components
  55.  
  56. If hard drive space is a concern, you should choose
  57. "Custom" and select which materials you would like
  58. to copy to your hard drive.
