  9. If you want to try the demo before installing it, make sure you double-
  10. click the "MakeAssign" icon. If you fail to run this, page headers in the
  11. demo will be shown in ugly blocky characters. By default the demo uses the
  12. 'times' and 'courier' fonts in sizes that didn't came with your WorkBench.

  19. AWeb-II is a fast and powerful World Wide Web browser for the Amiga computer.

  25. REQUIREMENTS
  26. ------------

  28. AWeb needs:
  29.  o OS 3.0 or better.
  30.  o At least 2MB of memory as an absolute minimum. 3 MB or more is
  31.    highly recommended.
  32.  o Either AmiTCP/IP, I-Net225 or AS-225 if you want to access the Internet,
  33.    or a TCP stack that is compatible with one of these. Examples of
  34.    compatible products are Miami and TermiteTCP.
  35.  o Appropriate picture datatypes (GIF, JPEG) to show inlined images.
  36.  o Either Amiga OS 3.5,
  37.    or the ClassAct gadget kit (included in the full distribution, not in this
  38.    demo).

  42. THIS DEMO VERSION
  43. -----------------

  45. AWeb 3.3LOCALDEMO is a special demo version of AWeb-II 3.3. This version
  46. lacks all network access, so you can only use it on local files.
  47. A networking demo version is available from Aminet: biz/demo/AWeb.lha.

  49. This demo version shows pages exactly like the full version does, but
  50. many additional features are disabled in this demo. Most important
  51. missing features are:
  52. - the demo doesn't use multiple windows. Note that when a page has a
  53.   link to another document in a new window, this demo version will not
  54.   open a new window. The full version will.
  55. - the demo doesn't read or save your hotlist.
