  9.  44.1 the background wasn't cleared when the gadget got less
  10.       than 2 pens to draw it.
  11.  44.2 the upper-left corner of MUI windows was erased due to the
  12.       changes of 44.1.
  13.  44.3 when using Pointer prefs v44, the slider was erased by its
  14.       bevel box <Mario Cattaneo>.
  15.  44.4 this release should fix any remaining drawing problem when
  16.       MUI is used.
