  2. InstallPack_47: Copyright EasySystem.
  3. Nur für "Erst-Installation" vorgesehen.

  5. 1) Computer evtl. ohne WBstartup Programme starten.
  6.    Patches wie MCP nach Möglichkeit deaktivieren.
  7.  
  8. 2) InstallPack_47 herunterladen und entpacken
  9.    (auf der EasySystem Mailinglistenseite, die hier ange-
  10.     sprochen wird, musst Du Dir vor Downloadmöglichkeit
  11.     auch noch einen Zugang verschaffen. Nach Anklicken
  12.     einer dieser Adressen verschaffst Du Dir Zugang durch
  13.     Anklicken von "Click here to register for free" rechts
  14.     oben auf der Seite, nach Abschluss der Registrations-
  15.     Prozedur funktioniert dann der Download.)

  20.    entpacken in einer Shell mit z.B.:  lha x -am RAM:InstallPack_47.lha RAM:

  22. 3) Installation von CD starten. Ab der Frage nach OS3.5 CD
  23.    bzw. Namen/RegCode-Frage dieses erste Installations-Fenster
  24.    nicht weiter beachten oder verwenden. Die Prozedur kann
  25.    durch Eingabe von  Ctrl. c  und anschließend  Ctrl. d
  26.    abgebrochen werden.

  28. 4) Nun die eigentliche Installation des InstallPack_47
  29.    starten und durchführen (Dauer ca. 20 Minuten auf
  30.    68060er Amigas).
  31.  
  32.    Hier die genau einzugebenden Daten sobald nach
  33.    Namen und dann nach dem Code gefragt wird (Groß-Klein-
  34.    Schreibung unbedingt beachten, jede Eingabe mit RETURN
  35.    Taste abschließen):

  38.    <RegCode>

  40.    Wenn der Code nicht sofort funktioniert:
  41.    Unbedingt dafür sorgen, dass die originalen Math.libraries
  42.    der OS3.x Software auf dem System installiert sind, speziell
  43.    bei OS3.5 System. Ansonsten kann es vorkommen, dass
  44.    zwei bis elf (!!) Eingaben zu tätigen sind, bis das richtige Ergebnis
  45.    errechnet wird.
  46.    
  47.    Wenn nach der Installation der Rechner total fehlerhaft bootet,
  48.    bitte in einer Early-Boot-Shell ohne Startup booten und eingeben:
  49.    
  50.    SYS:StartSys/StartupStandard
  51.    
  52.    Danach ist der Rechner auf alle Fälle wieder Bootbar,
  53.    jedoch mit eingeschränkter EASys! Funktionalität.
  54.    
  55.    In diesem Fall bitte mich kontaktieren. Nach Lösung der Probleme 
  56.    kann auf volle EASys! Funktionalität umgeschaltet werden.

  58. 5) DDconv von der CDROM instalieren
  59.  
  60. 6) ServicePack1 vom Netz laden:

  63. 7) ServicePack1 durch Nutzung der EASys! Funktionalität
  64.    entpacken: Icon auf Workbench auswählen und per Menü
  65.    "Datei Nutzung/entpacken -> RAM:"  oder durch Werfen
  66.    des Icons auf den Archivierungsknopf der Toolbar.

  68. 8) ServicePack1 installieren ...

  89. InstallPack_47: Only for "first installers"
  90.  
  91. Please download the upgrading software from the net
  92. and use it as described below:
  93.  
  94. 1) Start the computer if possible with as few as possible
  95.    activated within WBstartup. Deactivate as many patches 
  96.    as possible while installing.
  97.  
  98. 2) Download InstallPack_47 to RAM: (e.g.)
  99.    http://www.egroups.com/files/easysystem/InstallPack_47.lha

  101.    and unpack it using a Shell-Commandline with (e.g.)
  102.    
  103.    lha x -am RAM:InstallPack_47.lha RAM:

  105. 3) Follow the installation instructions:

  108.    Start the installation from the CD directly but
  109.    don't use it from the point it asks for the OS3.5 CD
  110.    or for your name/RegCode. You may quit the installer 
  111.    window by entering Ctrl.c and following Ctrl.d  or just
  112.    ignore that window now.

  114. 4) Now start the installation itself from the unpacked
  115.    installpack installation icon. Go through the installation
  116.    simply. Will take about 20 minutes on 68060 Amigas.
  117.    
  118.    Here's your name and Code which you must enter
  119.    one after the other and exactly as written here,
  120.    when they are required from the installer:
  121.  
  122.    xxxxx
  123.    yyyyy
  124.  
  125.    If the code is not accepted, please make sure you 
  126.    have disabled as many patches as possible for the
  127.    installation and to have installed the official math.libraries
  128.    in your Libs: directory, at least if you have an installed
  129.    and running OS3.5 system. If the code keeps unsuccessfull,
  130.    try to reenter even within restarts of the installation. 
  131.    There have been about 5% users whose systems had problems
  132.    calculating the correct code which only succeeded within the
  133.    second upon the eleventh (!!) retry for the code.
  134.    
  135.    If your system will only boot with serios errors after this 
  136.    installation, please reset it and enter the early startup 
  137.    screen to boot without Startup. Enter within the appearing shell:
  138.    
  139.    SYS:StartSys/StartupStandard
  140.    
  141.    After that, the machine will boot as usuable, but with
  142.    somehow restricted EASys! functionality.
  143.    
  144.    In this case, please contact me. After solving the problems
  145.    together, you may switch back to full EASys! functionality.
  146.    
  147. 5) Install DDconv from the CDROM
  148.  
  149. 6) Download ServicePack1 from the net:

  152. 7) Unpack ServicePack1, now already using EASys! comfort:
  153.    Select the icon of ServicePack1.lha, then choose from
  154.    the menu "File usage/..unpack -> RAM:"  or simply by
  155.    drag&drop the icon onto the EasyArc Toolbar buton.

  157. 8) Install ServicePack1 ...
  158.  
  159. 9) Download ServicePack2 ...
