Short: Irritator. Use it to scare off PC owners.
Author: Gareth Griffiths <mail@gazchap.btinternet.co.uk>
Uploader: Gareth Griffiths <mail@gazchap.btinternet.co.uk>
Type: util/wb
The Irritator, when left on its own, will start to do things with your
Amiga that are, well, irritating. Mouse buttons click themselves,
double-click themselves, hold themselves down. The screen flashes from time
to time, User Error requesters pop up, the computer belches at you, and it
even draws lines over your Workbench!
This program started off as an experiment, just to see what I could do to
the computer with Blitz ;)
FEATURES:
· System friendly
· Preferences program, to turn off specific actions. (*NEW*)
· It's a commodity, enable/disable/remove it at any time.
· Has *13* irritating actions (so far ;)
· Runs from WB/CLI
· Random error requesters (sort of)
· Irritating file requesters
· Automatic CLI commands
· It's irritating (well, duh!)
The executable can be put anywhere, just run it and things'll happen ;)
There are only 2 additional files, which are required, and those are the
text files, which are stored in ENVARC:Irritator. These files contains the
requester texts and command texts.
The archive contains these two files pre-filled with a few things. Feel free
to add to it, and if you come up with some humourous ones, send it to me!
IrritatorPrefs should be copied to C:
WARNING: Because of the possibility of abuse of the CLI function, you
should only download Irritator from a reputable site. My site will NOT
publish an Irritator archive with text files containing destructive
commands, i.e. format or delete. Aminet is reputable, but somebody could
upload a new Irritator archive without my permission, which contains
destructive commands. ALWAYS check the Irritator.cmds file for any
potentially destructive commands!
