  1. ID3-Tag Extractor plugin v1.1 by Deniil 715! for MultiRen

  4. This plugin can extract the information found in an ID3 v1.0 or
  5. v1.1 tag that can be found in Mpeg Audio steams (MP3).

  7. It recognizes 147 genres!

  15. ID3-Tag Extractor extracts:

  17. Title;
  18.   This is the 30 character long title-field of the ID3-tag.
  19.  
  20. Artist;
  21.   This is the 30 character long artist-field of the ID3-tag.
  22.  
  23. Album;
  24.   This is the 30 character long album-field of the ID3-tag.
  25.  
  26. Year;
  27.   This is the 4 character long year-field of the ID3-tag.
  28.  
  29. Comment;
  30.   This is the 30 character long album-field of the ID3-tag.
  31.   If it is a ID3 v1.1 tag, meaning there is a track number then
  32.   this field is only 28 characters long.
  33.  
  34. Genre;
  35.   This will return the genre of the song as text, not as a number.
  36.   If a genre if not found in ID3-Tag Extrators list then 'Unknown'
  37.   will be returned.

  39. Track #;
  40.   If this is a v1.1 tag (meaning there is a tracknumber) then
  41.   this will be filled with that number. Otherwise an empty
  42.   string will returned.
