- ----------------------------------
-
-
- > aspectratio
-
- this picture demonstrates MysticView's ability to handle
- aspect ratios. select from the menus: 'Display/Scale with
- Aspect'.
-
- the picture was created in multiscan lores interlace,
- providing an aspect ratio of 4:1. most viewers do not handle
- aspect ratios, and the image appears extremely distorted.
- (to get an impression of this, select 'Display/Display 1:1
- Pixel".)
-
- if the picture _does_ appear distorted with MysticView, then
- you need to upgrade to a better ILBM datatype. please refer
- to the datatype section in the documentation. make sure your
- datatypes handle aspect ratios correctly.
-
-
-
- > anim
-
- this drawer contains a series of small pictures. MysticView
- can display these pictures quite smoothly as a continuous
- animation.
-
- start MysticView, and activate the preset file
- 'MysticView_Animation' (located in the prefs/presets drawer)
- by simply dropping it on MysticView's window (or appicon).
- then drop the 'anim' drawer on MysticView's window (or
- appicon).
-
- alternatively, activate the preset icon, hold the shift key
- and start MysticView by doubleclicking on the 'anim' drawer.
-
-
-
- > patterns
-
- this is not a picture, but a MysticView listfile. you can
- start MysticView by double-clicking this icon, and it starts
- up with a list of your workbench patterns (provided that
- you've got them in SYS:Prefs/Patterns, and provided that
- MysticView is installed somewhere in the Workbench's search
- path).
-
-
-
- > rotateme
-
- this GIF is an example for MysticView's ability to rotate
- pictures. amazing, isn't it? yes, GIF shouldn't be supported
- anymore. who cares?
-
-
-
- > doom
-
- one of my favourite workbench patterns. this is a JPEG
- picture. by the way, have you got a state-of-the-art jpeg
- datatype installed?
-
- unfortunately this picture is also an example for one of the
- worst results of MysticView rendering a picture to a dynamic
- palette I ever encountered. refer to
- configuration/STATICPALETTE for details.
-
-
-
- > mysticlogo
-
- MysticView's internal default logo as a 24bit ILBM. an
- alternate picture can be specified with the STARTPIC
- tooltype.
-
-
-
- > defaultbuttons
-
- MysticView's buttons as an external picture. if you want to
- create your own buttons, simply modify the picture or make a
- new one. you only need to keep the layout. the sizes, the
- depth, and the file format are free. add the tooltype
- BUTTONPIC=<filename>.
-
-
-
- > defaultanim
-
- MysticView's tiny logo animation as an external picture. if
- you want to create your own animation, modify the picture or
- make a new one. the animation will be rendered into the
- center of the leftmost button, so make sure it fits that
- place. add the tooltype ANIMPIC=<filename>.
-
-
-
- > buttonsPLUS
-
- a nicer version of the default buttons.
