Note: CyberChess is strictly for multi-player use. It can be played by two people on one computer, or with another player over a modem. It can not be played against the computer.
How to move: Click on the piece you want to move, drag it its destination, and release the mouse button. As you move the piece around, a square will surround the space below the piece when that space is a valid move.
Clocks: Time clocks provide time limits for games. If you set the clocks for 5 minutes, you will have 5 minutes to make all of your moves. If you run out of time, you lose instantly.
If you are playing over a phone-based network system that has long delays, these delays will not be counted by the clocks. In other words, when your opponent moves, your clock doesn't start until the move appears on your screen.|
