  7. This is an Utility for use with the EPSON Stylus Color Series printer.

  9. !!! This is a beta release - Most features are not tested !!!

  11. FEATURES
  12. --------
  13.  - you can setup the printer standardprefs (Font, Chartable, ...)
  14.    (At this time supported for ESC/500/200/400/600/800
  15.     -> next maybe (if requested!) ESCII(s), Stylus, LQ?)
  16.  
  17.  - you can print the nozzle-testpattern
  18.    (At this time supported for 400/600/800!!!
  19.  
  20.  - you can clean the head of the printer (black or color)
  21.    (At this time supported for ESC/400/600/800!!!

  23.  - you can calibrate the printer with some patterns
  24.    (At this time only for ESC/400/600/800
  25.     -> planed for 500/200/II(s)
  26.     For the ESC500-printer the calibration works completly different
  27.     to the 800 - there are not send only control-sequences to the
  28.     printer but the patterns in graphic mode!
  29.     And there is no developer-support from EPSON. So I must find
  30.     out myself what I need from thousands of hex-bytes!)
  31.     I didn't think about the ESC200/ESC2(s) because I want to finish
  32.     the support for ESC500 first.

  34.  This is the same what the Utility for Mac and PC do.

  36. - about software-controlled interrogation of ink capacity I havn't
  37.   any information. If i get the required dev-info i will support this.

  39. Because I only have an EPSON Stylus COLOR 800 I couldn't test the
  40. program for the other printers! So if you use it please check the
  41. first times if it works correct an write me an email with your results.

  46.  - AmigaOS 2.04 or later and 68020+ CPU

  50.  This Program is email-ware.

  52.  Bug-Reports and suggestions are welcome (per email)
  53.  It is not alowed to include this program in any printer
  54.  driver package (pd or commercial) without permission
