Short: V1.1 Checks your clock's sanity. By F.Ultra
Author: fultra@kurir.net (Henrik Holst)
Uploader: fultra@kurir.net (Henrik Holst)
Version: 1.1
Type: util/time
Requires: kick v36+
Replaces: util/time/WatchWatcher.lha
⌐ 1998 Henrik "F.Ultra" Holst
Dedicated to Johan "Shaman/Dreamscape" Bj÷rk who in 1996 died at the age of 19
due to an allergic reaction of amphetamine. I will always love you pal.
New in v1.1
-----------
Printed date as "-------" under kick v36. Now WatchWatcher outputs the date in
format_dos style under v36 and format_def in v38+
Passed wrong parameter (MODE_OLDFILE) to LVO_lock. Now WatchWatcher passes the
right parameter (SHARED_LOCK). A wery, wery stupid bug! I don't know what I
was thinking, sorry.
Required kick v37+ although only kick v36+ functions are used. Now
WatchWatcher requires kick v36+
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ever encountered games, demos or system-hangups that sets your date and
time to 1987-02-01 (or something like that!). WatchWatcher watches your
systemdate every time you boot your computer, and alerts you, letting you
change the time and date if the date is strange.
Can be started from WBSTARTUP aswell as the startup-sequence.
Configurable using Tooltypes or CLI arguments.
Written in 100% assembler and only 848 bytes of code.
Uses no save file, changes the filedate of the program itself and coded in
cool F.Ultra style ;-)
Read the guidefile in the archive for more details.
