  10.   Poo is a brand new tool for your C: directory which is similar to 'Version' which
  11.   was free with all versions of Workbench. As with Version you can get extra info
  12.   about many programs by running it.
  13.  
  14.   When coding different utilities and games I always thought that the version response
  15.   was a bit too short and precise. For instance if you're lucky you'll get the name of
  16.   the author and its version, ie v1.4. But I wanted to put more information into my
  17.   programs, I wanted to put in a brief sentance which described the 'slogan' of the
  18.   utility or game. Poo was born.

  20.   By using Poo you can can get extra information from utilities and games, but they
  21.   MUST support the $POO command. Unfortunately no existing programs support it yet
  22.   except for some of my programs (look at the list of support programs in this doc)
  23.   but I'm hoping that people may begin to support it. All the programs I make from
  24.   now on will support the $POO command. I ask anyone who has bothered to investigate
  25.   this to put the $POO command in their next program or game. Its quite simple, do
  26.   exactly as you would to add a Version response but substitute $VER for $POO. Simple
  27.   as that! I'm not suggesting that $POO should replace $VER, oh no, they are designed
  28.   to work together, a bit like CTCP VERSION & CTCP USERINFO on IRC.

  31.   it to the list of programs currently supporting $POO.áI would also like you to

  42.   Stick Poo in C: and in a Shell type this :

  49.   Running Poo without a syntax will return the version of kickstart and workbench
  50.   you have.
