  1. A couple of important new features were introduced in version 2.45.

  3. There is an option (off by default) to allow selections to be moved with
  4. the cursor keys without holding the mouse button.

  6. It now uses dynamic areas. The maximum size is set in the !Run file and
  7. can be edited if necessary. Virtualise is not specifically supported;
  8. templates aren't usually that big! The main aim of dynamic areas in
  9. WinEd is to prevent memory used for editing files from imposing a limit
  10. on general workspace, whose requirements can not be accurately
  11. predicted.
