Longer description
------------------
When opening and closing dialogboxes, automatic cursor movement will take
place if 'Move Mousearrow' is enabled. Cursor is then positioned
according to the settings of 'Positiontype' and 'Returntype'.
There exist 4 position types.
1 = First Pushbutton in dialogbox.
2 = First object with focus in dialogbox (editfield, listbox, pushbutton..).
3 = Centerposition in dialogbox.
4 = First object that is not a pushbutton.
There exist 3 return types.
1 = No returnposition.
2 = On closing dialobox, return to previous position.
3 = Centerposition in returnwindow.
It is also possible to get an idea on how much armmovement is done by activating
'Measurebox'. Measurebox is a small 'always on top' window that constantly shows
armmovement that is done with the mouse. For this to work properly, correct
Screensize has to be set. The field 'Arrow/Mouse quotient' is by default set to
0.100. This is a estimated value of the fraction between handmovement at the
desk and arrow movement at the screen. Reserach suggest that it is only
neccessary to move the hand at the table 1/10 of the actual movement at the
screen. For the measurebox to show 'real' handmovement at the table, the field
'Arrow/Mouse quotient' should be set to 0.100. For the measurebox to show
arrowmovement at the screen, the field should be set to 1.000. The user can himself
experiment with this by setting a quotient of his own and that might reflect this
relationship better.
The numbers in the measurebox-window is:
Total movement (Red. Sum of Yellow and Green).
Actual movement (Yellow. What is actually measured)
Saved movement (Green)
Percentage (Saved armmovement (green) in percent of total
movement (red).)
The numbers always reflects the 'Measurement' field in 'International' in
'Control Panel'. When 'Feet', the numbers shows feet. When 'Meters', the
number shows meters.
The measurebox measuring can also be activated/deactiavted.
The measuring can also be reset.
'Saved armmovement' (green) is measured by accumulating automatic
cursormovement, set by postitiontype and returntype, by calculating
the real movement (straight line) that the cursor moves on the screen, from the
original position to the position the cursor is moved to. The saved
armmovement is reflected in the Number outside the green color in the
Measurebox window and in the percentage number.
'Actual movement' is measured by drawing the diagonal between two x,y-points
at the screen that the mousedriver tells the system. Arrow Action then
intercepts this information and calculates the distance.
Known anomalies
---------------
Arrow Action works when opening and closing dialogboxes. However. All
dialogboxes, that looks like dialoboxes, is not really 'dialogboxes' in
an internal way. In 'dialogboxes' like this, Arrow Action will at the
moment, not work.
