Windows Complete Program Deleter (WCPD) is a program designed to
rid your hard disk of programs you do not want. Run WCPD before
installing a program on your hard disk, then run it again after
the installation is complete. Any time after that, WCPD will be
able to totally erase the program from your disk. It will erase
all files added you your hard drive during the installation,
including invisible or write-protected files, regardless of where
they were placed on the hard drive (such as \WINDOWS\SYSTEM or
the root directory). It will also delete all subdirectories added
to your disk during the installation. It will also reverse all
changes made in your AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI, and
SYSTEM.INI files during the installation process. WCPD can
uninstall programs that span more than one disk. For example, if
you have your Windows directory on drive C and you install a
Windows program on drive D, some of the files will go on drive D
and some will be installed in the Windows directory on drive C.
WCPD completely uninstalls these programs. This program is
great for people who like to experiment with shareware, since
they add many programs to their hard drive and then remove them
if they do not like the programs. Note: This program requires
Windows 3.1 and the VBRUN200.DLL library, which is widely
available.
Hardware Requirements: IBM PC or compatible. 4 Meg RAM. Hard drive.
