DESCRIPTION:
Quick Notes, a Notepad replacement, is a fast text editor that has
multiple-file editing, word-wrap, case conversion, a "most recently used"
file list, a toolbar, search and replace, and other features found in
full-blown word processors. Quick Notes features a floating palette to
quickly access commonly used commands, file management commands, dial
highlighted number, execute highlighted program, print preview, context
sensitive help, a polished user interface, and more. WinApp of the Month,
November 1994, PC/Computing.
REQUIRES:
Windows 3.1 or greater.

Run install.exe
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Quick Notes is shareware. Try before you buy software. If you would like
to continue to use Quick Notes after the 30 day evaluation period you must
register your copy. To register, fill out the form in the file form.txt and
send it to Equadox Corporation. If form.txt is missing contact Equadox
Corporation. Registering will remove the notice at the ending of Quick
Notes. You also will receive the latest version of Quick Notes, and will be
entitled to technical support.
A limited license is granted to copy and distribute Quick Notes for trial
use, subject to the following conditions:
I. Quick Notes must be copied in unmodified form, complete with the
following files:

quiknote.ini
readme.txt
form.txt
file_id.diz
run_dial.txt

II. Quick Notes may not be distributed in conjunction with any other product
without a specific license to do so from Equadox Corporation.

THE AUTHOR (EQUADOX CORPORATION) DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES RELATING TO
THIS SOFTWARE (QUICK NOTES), WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT
NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NEITHER THE AUTHOR NOR ANYONE ELSE WHO
HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THE CREATION, PRODUCTION, OR DELIVERY OF THE
SOFTWARE SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL,
OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE
THE SOFTWARE EVEN IF THE AUTHOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY
OF SUCH DAMAGES OR CLAIMS. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR'S

THE 30-DAY TRIAL PERIOD REQUIRES REGISTRATION. THE USE OF UNLICENSED
COPIES OF THE SOFTWARE, AFTER THE 30-DAY TRIAL PERIOD, BY ANY
INDIVIDUAL OR ENTITY IS PROHIBITED. A SINGLE USER LICENSE PERMITS A
USER TO USE THE SOFTWARE ONLY ON A SINGLE COMPUTER. LICENSED USERS
MAY USE THE SOFTWARE ON DIFFERENT COMPUTERS, BUT MAY NOT USE THE
SOFTWARE ON MORE THAN ONE COMPUTER AT THE SAME TIME. NO ONE MAY
MODIFY THE SOFTWARE IN ANY WAY.
USE OF THE SOFTWARE CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT
AND SUBJECTS YOU TO ITS CONTENTS.
THIS AGREEMENT IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON
AND SHALL INURE TO THE BENEFIT OF THE AUTHOR AND ANY SUCCESSORS,
ADMINISTRATORS, HEIRS AND ASSIGNS. ANY ACTION OR PROCEEDING BROUGHT
BY EITHER PARTY AGAINST THE OTHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS
AGREEMENT SHALL BE BROUGHT ONLY IN A STATE OR FEDERAL COURT OF
COMPETENT JURISDICTION LOCATED IN CLARK COUNTY, WASHINGTON, U.S.A.
THE PARTIES HEREBY CONSENT TO IN PERSONAL JURISDICTION OF SAID COURTS.
