  1.    You are about to install the most versatile crossword program currently
  2. available on the Shareware market.  It is called THE DAILY CROSSWORD,  and
  3. provides you with a completely automatic method of  creating  professional
  4. quality crossword puzzles.  We hope that you will enjoy using it, and that
  5. you will introduce it to all of  your  friends  and  associates.  Remember
  6. however  that it is intended  only as a  demonstration  program,  designed
  7. to give you an impression of the power of  CROSSWORD EXPRESS  which is the
  8. name of the program you will receive when you register with AUS-PC-SOFT.

  10.    CROSSWORD EXPRESS is a Windows program which is packed  with additional
  11. features which make it an absolute must for the crossword hobbyist and the
  12. crossword professional alike. Briefly, the additional features are :-

  14. : Full mouse support, as well as the ability to  control the  program from
  15.   the keyboard.
  16.  
  17. : Regardless of the type of printer  connected to your system (dot matrix,
  18.   ink-jet or laser), CROSSWORD EXPRESS will print to it provided only that
  19.   it is supplied with a Windows printer driver.

  21. : A wide range of print options  allows fine control of the  appearance of
  22.   the printed output, including size,  positioning and font.  Clues can be
  23.   exported  to the  Clipboard  for  subsequent  importing  into  your word
  24.   processor, desk top publisher etc.

  26. : Supports an unlimited number of dictionaries,  and allows you to  select
  27.   more than one dictionary when making a crossword.  The  dictionaries you
  28.   select are merged into a single MULTI dictionary before  construction of
  29.   the crossword begins.

  32.   ENGLISH - over 30000 words and clues.
  33.   ENG-ITA - over 9000 English words with Italian words as clues.
  34.   ARITH   - over 6500 arithmetic clues and answers as words.  (Thats right
  35.             CROSSWORD  EXPRESS  allows  numbers  to  be  used  as  well as
  36.             letters).

  38. : Name your puzzles as they are constructed,  so that they may be recalled
  39.   at a later time.  The number of  puzzles  which can be saved is  limited
  40.   only by the vacant space on your hard disk.

  42. : MULTI-MAKE function allows up to 9,999 puzzles to be made in  unattended
  43.   mode, and printed out or saved for later use. This facility is ideal for
  44.   making novelty place-mats for use in fast food restaurants etc.

  46. : A  scoreboard  function  keeps you up to  date on  progress as  you  are
  47.   solving a puzzle "on screen".

  49. : A preset word  facility allows up to 20 words in the puzzle to be preset
  50.   to particular words of your  choosing.  CROSSWORD EXPRESS  will  fill in
  51.   the remaining words.

  53.    As a registered user of CROSSWORD EXPRESS you will also be able to take
  54. part  in a  Network Distribution  system,  whereby  you may  introduce the
  55. program to other potential users,  and receive a system of commission pay-
