  22. INSTALLATION
  23.  
  24. Color by Numbers requires an IBM compatible computer running Windows 3.1. A 256
  25. color or better display is recommended for best results. (If you have a 16 color
  26. display, for example, the light blue color used in the game will be displayed as
  27. a pattern of blue and white dots instead of a solid color).

  29. To install CBN, make a new directory on your hard drive (Example: C:\GAMES\CBN)
  30. and copy all of the CBN files to it. Then, you can either run the program from
  31. the Program Manager or File Manager menu (using the Run... option), or you can
  32. install its icon in the Program Manager by opening the Games group, and selecting
  33. the New... option in the File menu. Click OK in the first window, then fill in the
  34. next window by typing "Color by Numbers" in the first box, type the path to the
  35. CBN program in the second box (Example: C:\GAMES\CBN\CBN.EXE), and type the
  36. directory where you copied CBN in the next box (Example: C:\GAMES\CBN). Then
  37. click OK. The CBN icon should appear in the Games window, and double clicking
  38. that icon should start the game.

  40. Detailed instructions can be accessed by selecting the Instructions... option
  41. in CBN's Help menu.
