  4.    The program WORDSRCH.EXE and the information files README.WS (this file)
  5.    and WORDSRCH.WRI, the user instructions for the programs, are
  6.    Copyright 1994 by Lane C. Showalter. All rights are reserved.

  8.    WordSearch for Windows is shareware, but it is not free. Anyone may try
  9.    the program for up to a month to determine whether it will be useful.
  10.    Before continuing usage beyond the 30 day period you should register the
  11.    program, as indicated below.
  12.    
  13.    WORDSRCH.EXE generates Word Search puzzles - grids of letters with words
  14.    embedded in any direction, with unused spaces filled with extra letters.
  15.    Words to be searched for are listed below the puzzle. The program is
  16.    unique, because it accepts foreign language accents, which are printed in
  17.    the puzzle. This is unusual, partly because the standard IBM printed
  18.    character set does not include accented capitals, and partly because
  19.    accented capitals are not usually used in print. The ability to display
  20.    accented capitals makes the program especially useful for teachers of
  21.    languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and
  22.    Scandinavian languages, particularly in elementary schools. Even without
  23.    the accent capability, which can be ignored if desired, the program is a
  24.    very powerful puzzle generator with many handy features.

  27.    I wrote this program originally for my wife, who teaches French in an
  28.    elementary school. She has tested it thoroughly and uses it regularly
  29.    in her classes.

  31.    The program runs on any computer that runs Microsoft (R) Windows 3.x.
  32.    Puzzles generated by the program can be printed on any printer which
  33.    has been installed under Windows.

  35.    To register the program, please send $15 to me at the address below.
  36.    Registration will entitle you to use any future upgrades or improvements
  37.    in the program, and to receive assistance from me if you have problems
  38.    using the program for a period of 6 months after registration, or after
  39.    obtaining any future version of the program. I would also welcome your
