Monkey Island II
*** Part I - The Largo Embargo ***
Scabb Island
Accessible locations - woodtick, beach, swamp, cemetery, peninsula.
Woodtick
Accessible Locations - toll bridge, woodsmith, bar, kitchen, map
maker, inn, laundry.
Go to the right.
Move the cursor around to check what places you can access.
Peninsula
Walk to boathouse.
Talk to Captain Dread.
Swamp
Walk to the coffin.
Use the coffin.
Row to the right until you have reached the shack.
Proceed to the right and talk to the voodoo lady, Mojo.
Ask her about the voodoo doll.
Item from the dead - Largo's ancestor.
Woodtick
Look at the sign at the toll bridge.
Take the sign.
Cemetery
Go to graves and examine tombstones.
Find Largo's ancestor grave.
Use the shovel to dig the appropriate grave.
Get a bone.
Item from the body - Largo's body fluid.
Woodtick
1. Proceed to Wally's place (the cartographer).
2. Go to the pile of papers.
3. Take a piece of paper.
4. Go to the hatch (bar).
5. Speak to the bartender.
6. Mention Largo.
7. Wait for him to exit.
8. Use the piece of paper to get the spit on the wall.

Woodtick
1. Go to the window, just beside the hatch.
2. Enter the kitchen.
3. Go to table, take the knife.
4. Go to the inn.
5. Talk to the innkeeper.
6. Use the knife on the rope to release the alligator.
7. The innkeeper will run after the alligator so you enter the
Largo's room.
8. In Largo's room, go to the plastic head.
9. Take the toupee.

Go to laundry shop.
Walk to the left, and get the bucket.
Swamp
Look at swamp.
Use bucket on swamp to get a bucket of mud.
Woodtick
1. Back in Largo's room, close the door.
2. Place the bucket of mud on top of the door.
3. Wait for Largo to come in.
4. Follow Largo to the laundry.
5. Eavesdrop on the conversation.
6. Return to Largo's room.
7. Shut the door.
8. Take the laundry ticket behind the door.
9. Head to the laundry.
10. Give the ticket to the old man.
Swamp
Talk to Mojo.
Give her the four items.
Woodtick
In Largo's room, use the pins on the voodoo doll.
Peninsula
Speak with Captain Dread, but you'll have to find something for him
first.
Woodtick
Go to Wally's place and talk to him until he has nothing more to tell
you.
Wait for him to put down his monocle.
Take the monocle.
Peninsula
Give the monocle to Captain Dread.
He'll will want you to get 20 pieces of eight first.
Woodtick
1. Proceed to the laundry.
2. Talk to the pirates.
3. Agree to buy the wood polish.
4. Go to the woodsmith's place.
5. Talk to him and buy the wood polish.
6. Go to laundry and use the wood polish on the peg leg and you'll
receive a piece of eight each time you do that; but that is not
sufficient money to pay the Captain.
Beach
Pick up the stick.
Swamp
Go to Mojo's place.
Look around.
Take the string.
Woodtick
1. Go to the inn and look at bowl.
2. Take the cheese squiggles.
3. Go to laundry and open the box.
4. Use the stick on the box.
5. Use the cheese squiggles on the box.
6. Use the string on the stick.
7. Wait for the rat to eat the cheese.
8. Pull the string to catch the rat.
9. Open the box and take the rat.
10. Go to the kitchen, entering it from the window.
11. Put the rat in the pot.
12. Walk to the bar and talk to the bartender.
13. Ask him about the stew.
14. The bartender will give you 420 pieces of eight.
Peninsula
Talk to the Captain.
*** Part II - Four Map Pieces ***
Outside of the boat, pick up the parrot chow.
Read the book about Big Whoops.

Buy the well polished saw near the door.
Scabb Isle
Woodtick
Walk to the laundry.
Use the well polished saw on the peg leg.
Go to the woodsmith's place.
He'll be out for emergency services.
Take the hammer and nails.
Booty Isle
1. Go into Stan's coffin shop and talk to him.
2. Ask him to show you the coffin.
3. When he enters, close the coffin.
4. Close the coffin again.
5. Use the hammer with the nails to trap Stan inside the coffin.
6. Take the crypt key.
Scabb Isle
Cemetery
Use the crypt key to open the crypt.
Go into the crypt.
Find out which one is Rapp's coffin so you can open the coffins.
Phatt's Isle
1. Once you reach the isle, you'll be captured.
2. In the jail, open the mattress and take the stick.
3. Use the stick on the bone.
4. Give the bone to the dog.
5. Get the key.
6. Use the key to open the jail door.
7. Take the envelopes.
8. One of them contains your personal item and the other contain a
banana and an organ.
9. Go to the library and borrow a few books.
10. Get a temporary library card from the librarian.
11. Sign out the book on voodoo "receipts: the joy of hex".
Mansion
1. Open the gate and walk to the door.
2. Enter the door.
3. Speak with the guard.
4. Find some reason to get him away and then proceed upstairs.
5. Use the book (any one will do) to swap the book from the governor.
6. Flip through the book.
7. It's contain all the famous quotes of many pirates.
Scabb Isle
Cemetery
Look at the coffins and open the coffin of Rapp Scallion.
Look inside.
Take the ash.
Swamp
Head to Mojo's place.
Look at the jar, and one of them is the ash 2 life potion.
Speak to Mojo.
Give her the ash of Rapp Scallion and get the ash-2-life potion from
her.
Use the book of voodoo receipts when needed.
Cemetery
Use the potion on Rapp's ash.
Speak to Rapp.
Agree to check up his hut and get a key from him.
Beach
Use the key to open door to the weenie hut.
Use the knob to turn off the gas.
Cemetery
Speak with Rapp again.
Map piece from Young Lindy, the cabin boy.
Booty Isle
1. Go to the antique shop and you'll find the map piece is on sale
there for 6 million pieces of eight.
2. You'll need to find the head piece from the Mad Monkey to exchange
for it.
3. Buy the horn.
4. Speak to Captain Kate (the women with the big hat). Get a leaflet
from her.
5. Go to spitting contest. Try spitting.
6. Walk to the flags and look at them.
7. Attempt to pick them up.
8. Use the horn.
9. Pick up the flags and shift their position.
10. Try spitting again and you will do a bit better, but not good
enough.
Scabb Isle
Go to the bar.
Show the library card to the innkeeper.
Buy the blue drink and yellow drink.
Use the blue drink on the yellow drink to get the green drink.
Booty Isle
1. Go to the spit master.
2. Use the crazy straw with the green drink.
3. Try the contest again.
4. Try spitting again, this time spit only when you find the women
scarf is flying (this indicates that it's windy).
5. Go to the antique shop.
6. Sell the plague to the dealer for 6000 pieces of eight.
7. Talk to Captain Kate.
8. Charter the ship but don't go to sea yet.
Phatt Isle
Borrow the book "Disaster : Great shipwrecks of the century".
Read the book and note the location of the sunken monkey.
Booty Isle
1. Talk to Captain Kate again.
2. Search for sunken treasure.
3. Go to the location indicated in the book and dive for the
treasure.
4. When you have found the ship, pick up the head piece.
5. Use the anchor to go up.
6. Go to the antique shop.
7. Give the head piece to the dealer, and receive the map piece.

Phatt Isle
1. Go to the alley.
2. Talk to the man.
3. Play the game and notice the little guy always wins.
4. Follow the little guy to another alley.
5. Watch what he does.
6. When he has left, knock on the slot on the door.
7. Ask about the next winning number. You'll be shown two signs.
Always answer with the number of fingers you are shown previously,
i.e.: if he shows you 4 then 5 answer 4, if he show you 5 then 2
answer 5, if he show you 1 then 2 answer 1.
8. Remember the number and go an play the game again.
9. Win the invitation card.
Booty Isle
Go to the costume shop.
Give the invitation to the man.
Get your costume.
Mansion
1. Put on the costume and go to the governor's mansion.
2. Go to the side of the mansion.
3. Open door and enter the kitchen.
4. Try to get the fish. You'll be chased outside.
5. Attempt to pick up the trashcan and this will irritate the chef
and he will chase after you.
6. Run round the mansion and enter the kitchen again. Pick up the
fish.
7. Enter the mansion and take the map piece.
8. Leave the mansion.
9. Try to get away. The dog and the gardener will stop you and bring
you the Elaine.
10. Talk to her as sweetly as you can.
11. After she has thrown the map piece outside the window, pick up
the oars.
12. Exit the mansion and try to pick up the map. The wind will blow
it away to the cliff.
13. Pick up the dog.
Cliff
Go to the side.
Look at the map piece; you'll need something to get the map piece.
Phatt Isle
Walk to the pier and speak to fisherman.
Bet with him.
Give him the fish to receive the fishing pole.
Booty Isle
Cliff
Walk to the side of the cliff. Use the fishing pole on the map. A
bird will take the map away.
Big Tree
Walk to the big tree. Pick up the plank.
Use the oar in the first hole.
Go to the tree and then stand on oars. The oar will break and you'll
have a dream.
Look at the piece of paper in your inventory after the dream.
Scabb Isle
Woodtick
Go to the woodsmith's place.
Give the oars to smithy.
Booty Isle
Big Tree
1. Use the oar in first hole.
2. Stand on the oar.
3. Use the plank in second hole.
4. Stand on the plank.
5. Pick up the oar and put it in the third hole.
6. Stand on the oar, pick up the plank and put it in the fourth
hole... etc., until you reach the top of the tree. Enter the door.
7. Look at the pile of maps.
8. Use the dog to get the map piece.

Big Tree
Pick up the telescope.
Wharf
Go to the antique shop.
Purchase the sign beside parrot.
Notice the hook behind the sign. Use the parrot chow with the hook.
Buy the mirror.
Scabb Isle
Go to the bar and use the banana on the metronome.
Pick up the monkey.
Phatt Isle
1. Use the leaflet (from Captain Kate) on the poster.
2. Leave the island.
3. Enter the jail.
4. Use the key to free her.
5. Pick up the envelope with her belongings.
6. There's a bottle of half grog inside.
Waterfall
Walk to the path above the waterfall.
Use the monkey on the pump and the water will stop flowing.
Go into the cave. This leads you to the cottage.
Cottage
1. Talk to the man.
2. Try the challenge.
3. Take the challenge again.
4. Pick up the mug.
5. Use the mug on the tree to empty it first.
6. Use the mug with the bottle of half grog., and this allow you to
win the contest.
7. Go to the trapdoor and push the brick.
8. Open the window.
9. Use the mirror on the mirror frame.
10. Go outside the cottage and use the telescope on the grotesque
statue.
11. Push the brick again.
12. Look at the skeleton.
13. Take the map piece.
Phatt Isle
Go to the library.
Open the lighthouse model.
Pick up the lens.
Booty Isle
Go to Wally's place.
Give him the lens.
Give him the map pieces.
Swamp
Talk to Mojo.
Get the juju bag and look inside it.
Woodtick
Go to Wally's place.
Swamp
Notice that there is a box laying near the swamp. Look at it, open it
and use it.
*** Part III - LeChuck's Fortress ***
1. Walk to the right. You'll find a lots of signs there. Don't enter
it yet.
2. Go to the right tunnel and look at the jail.
3. Speak to Wally.
4. Return to the signs.
5. Enter the back tunnels. Look at the piece of paper you have.
6. Push bones according to what is written on the piece of paper.
7. Repeat this 4 times, each time using one of the verses.
8. Open the huge door.
9. Take the jail key.
10. Use the crazy straw on the green drink using your mouth.
11. Spit on many places but concentrate on the pan (just below Wally)
and the shield (to your right).
12. Notice that they changes their angle slightly every time you spit
on them.
13. Spit on them to adjust their angle. The correct angle will let
you spit on the shield, bounce off to the pan, which in turn sends it
to the candle.
14. In the darkness, use the box of matches
*** Part IV - Dinky Island ***
1. Speak to Herman.
2. Talk until you hit the right answer.
3. On the beach, pick up crowbar, the martini glass.
4. Use the glass with the ocean.
5. Use the glass of sea water with the still to get purify the water.
6. Pick up the bottle in the ocean.
7. Use the bottle on the rock to break it.
8. Open the barrel to get the cracker.
9. Give the cracker to the parrot and note what it says.
10. Enter the jungle.
11. Walk to the left all the way to the big tree.
12. Use the broken bottle on the bag.
13. Take the cracker mix.
14. Use the distilled water on the cracker mix to make two crackers.
15. Walk to the pond (Walk right three times).
16. Take the rope.
17. Use the crowbar on the box.
18. Get the dynamite.
19. Follow the directions given by parrot.
20. Give another cracker to it.
21. Follow the directions given by the parrot.
22. The parrot should be there. Give it the last piece of the
cracker.
23. Use the shovel on the big X.
24. Use the matches with dynamite.
25. Use the dynamites with the hole to blow it up.
26. Use the crowbar with the rope.
27. Use crowbar 'n' rope with metal rod.
28. In the darkness, move the cursor around until you find the light
switch.
29. Turn in on.
30. In the first aid room, open the trashcan to get two surgical
gloves.
31. Open the drawer to get the hypodermic needle.
32. Take skull.
33. In the room with many boxes, open all the boxes you can.
34. Take the root beer, voodoo doll, and balloon.
35. In the room you find LeChuck in, give a hankie to LeChuck,
36. In the room with the broken grog machine, use the helium tank
with the two surgical gloves and the balloon.
37. Use the coin return. A coin will drop out.
38. Wait for LeChuck to enter the room.
39. Pick up his underwear.
40. At the elevator, go inside.
41. Wait for LeChuck to come in and use the lever to go up.
42. Use the juju bag with the voodoo doll, beard, underwear, used
hankie and the skull.
43. Mix them to get the voodoo doll of LeChuck.
44. Walk around to look for LeChuck.
45. When he enter the room, use the neddle on the voodoo doll and
he'll run away from you.
46. Walk around to look for him.
47. Sit back and go through the end game.
