System Shock
1. Be sure to sack all the Cameras and Computer Nodes that you find,
to go through security-locked doors.
2. In the Cyborg Conversion chambers on each level, you can use
switch close by which will reconfigure it to heal you when you are
killed, rather than make you into a Cyborg.
3. Step on some of the lit panels flat on the floor, as they are
elevators.
4. You must finish the area for all the different Cyberspace Terminal
that you find.
5. When a door is broken beyond repair, you can't do anything to get
through.
6. If you find elevators that will not operate with the "power
diverted to ...," explore all the accessible areas of all the levels
that you can get to, read all of your E-mail and Logs for clues, or
defeat all accessible areas of Cyberspace for codes and
computer-locked door switches.
7. Some levels can't be done right away so you have to come back to
them.
8. You can't ever completely clear a level of enemies.
9. Level 6 is accessible only after the Laser is destroyed.
10. Level 3 can't be done until all 3 grove Jettison Enable switches
inside the groves are flipped and the Jettison Enable Master Control
switch is flipped, all of which are on level 6.
11. Level 7 is inaccessible only after the Beta Grove is jettisoned.
12. The Reactor can't be destroyed until you have destroyed the
Antennae, and you have received authorization from Earth to ditch the
station.
13. Level 8 is inaccessible until the Reactor has been set to
destruct.
14. In the room with the X-22 Isotpe, is a button on the wall. Look
for it carefully.
15. In the same room as the computer nodes on each level from Level 1
to 6, is a screen from which you can receive the Reactor Destruct
Code. The number on the screen keeps changing until the nodes are
destroyed, so you need to collect all six in order.

Hospital Level:
Keep your dart pistol until the very end and use the darts when
confronted with multiple Cyborg assassins.
The means to solving this level is at its center.
Keep exploring as there are two methods to get by the locked Force
Door.
At the center of the large hub area is an elevator that takes you
down to a control room where you flip the switch to turn on the
repulser pad and go to the roof, so complete the grid access panel
puzzle to open the force field door.
Research level:
Locate a circuit breaker panel in Alph Quadrant by the Energy
Recharge Station and hit the last switch up to restore lights in the
Beta Quadrant.
The X-22 Isotope is found in Gamma Quadrant with a switch on wall by
it.
Don't fire the Laser Beam Control in center of level until the
shields up.
Stop robot production by solving the puzzles on southeast edge.
To receive the Laser Safety Override Code, solve the Grid Access
puzzle in the Library and the code will then be displayed on one of
the screens there.
Reactor level:
1. You need a descent Enviro-suit to complete this level.
2. You need the radiation suit to enter the reactor.
3. The laser Safety Override is west.
4. The Shield Generator in the southwest needs X-22 Isotope to be
activated.
5. The Reactor is in the center.
6. In the southeast is the Cyborg conversion.
Maintenance level:
1. One of the two Energy Charge Stations has dangling cables that
will hurt you.
2. On this level is the laser rapier which is good against the
Invisible Mutants; and the Lantern v1 will help you see them.
3. Use the Relay Analyzer in north-central location to find the
faulty relay.
4. As locate relay panels, note the number and then head back and
punch it in to the Relay Analyzer to see if it needs to be repaired.
5. Locate a severed head on this level in good condition to get past
the Retina Scanner.
6. Until you are almost done with level 6, the locked maintenance
doors on this level will not open.
Storage level:
There is a hidden button underneath a crate in the large storage room
with the hanging walkways which turn on force bridges.
There are two switches that need to be hit high on the wall in the
storage room with the locked force door and repulsers. Hit the first on
to activate the repulser in the corner and from the second repulser
jump to the next corner. The repulser pads on the wall with the force
door are only operational by the ceiling.
Flight Deck Level:
In Flight Bay 4, hit the buttons, left to right, like this: on on off
on on off.
It is impossible to get all of the bridge segments on. There is an
opening up on the wall that you will have to use your Jump Boots to
get to in Flight Bay 4.
There are two force bridges in Flight Bay 4, one which is turned on
with a switch, the other by pressing the right buttons on the panel
on the bay's floor.
Executive level:
1. Head southeast to get to all the important items in the southwest.
2. To turn off the force field on the entry area's ceiling, use the
switch at the southeast edge of the screen.
3. To jettison Beta Grove, start by visiting all three groves and hit
the Jettison Enable switch in each.
4. Attempt then the Jettison Enable Master Control in the southwest.
5. Return to level 3 and repair the burnt-out relay.
6. Try the Master control again.
7. Return to the lobby of Beta grove and hit the Beta Jettison
switch.
Tasks:
To disable the Laser,
Take X-22 Isotope from Level 2.
Use the Isotope on panel at Shield Generator on the reactor level.
Enter the Laser Override Code, 199, on the reactor level.
Fire the Laser on level 2 in the central area.
The elevators on level 6 will be activated.
To Jettison Beta Grove on level 6,
1. Turn on Jettison Enable buttons in each of the three remaining
groves, G1, G2 , G4.
2. In Beta Grove, G2, keep to the right.
3. Hit the Jettison Enable Master Control in the extreme southwest.
4. Go back to level 3 and complete the task then locate relay 428 and
repair it with an Interface Demodulator.
5. Hit Jettison Enable Master Control switch on level 6 once more.
6. Press the Beta Jettison button in lobby of Beta Grove.
To Destroy the antennae,
Use 4 units of plastique, found on level 4 atop the antenna panels.
Be sure you are far away when they go off.
Also be sure that the Cyborg Conversion chamber for this level has
been found and fixed beforehand.
To destroy the reactor and the station,
1. Gather the 6 digits for the Reactor code on levels 1 through 6.
2. After receiving authorization from Earth to destroy the station,
head down to the reactor level and go into the core of the Reactor.
3. Turn on the Repulser lift to go up to the controls.

3. Should the battle end and you get a still shot of Shodan's face,
you failed so try again.
4. Shodan is a gray cone-shaped entity an area of Cyberspace on level
9.
5. It is off to the side of the main current flow, so you will not
find it if you just let the current carry you.
6. Begin blasting away as soon as you find him.
7. Continually fire your Pulser as fast as possible.
Notes:
Dermal patches have the effect of improving your sight, for example,
the making your sight worse than it was originally.
Use a Detox patch to remove side effects from the other patches.
The Reactor destruct code is different for each game which you play.
Save the game before each time you enter Cyberspace.
In the Cyborg version, Edward Diego will teleport away when you have
injured him enough in your first two encounters.
For the Turbo Booster, choose the Booster and then Select Item. The
Skate setting permits you to jump higher and farther, while the Boost
setting increases your top speed.
In the hallway on Level 7 and the maze area on Level 9, the autobombs
are unlimited.
For the antenna door trap on level 7 which shuts behind you, you can
go behind the antenna pedestal opposite the Plastique and crouch
down, or quickly use a logic probe on the panel.
