QUAKE MISSION PACKS - HINTS, TIPS AND SECRETS

MISSION PACK 1 (Scourge of Armagon)
-----------------------------------
"Official" secrets appear in the list as numbered items.
Other hidden (or hard-to-find) areas are also listed, but are not numbered.
Mission Pack 1 secrets were discovered by yours truly.
Mission Pack 1 - List of levels
-------------------------------
Although the levels are played in a linear fashion from beginning to end,
they do fall into 3 different episodes, plus an endgame. There is also a
special Deathmatch-only level.

NIGHTMARE MODE
--------------
Not particularly difficult to find, but just in case:
There is a corridor linking the "easy" slipgate and the "normal" slipgate.
Half-way along this corridor, it opens out into an area with some boxes
piled up alongside the passageway. Jump onto these boxes: the elevator to
the Nightmare slipgate is behind them.
Level HIP1M1 - The Pumping Station (5 secrets)
----------------------------------------------
1. Go through the first side door you come to (the one that opens suddenly)
and go towards the area with the moat around it. As you go down the stairs,
you'll see a shootable button on the ceiling. This opens a door to a short
elevator leading to a 100% health powerup.
2. Roughly half-way down the sequence of spiral staircases from the start
you'll find a room with two blocks you can jump on. If you shoot the far
wall (to the left of the health boxes) a door opens revealing some red
armour.
3. In the outer courtyard, there is a shootable button high up on the
walkway support. This opens a door in the support revealing a room with a
proximity mine launcher and assorted ammo.
4. In the room with a view of the exit slipgate (behind the force field)
shoot the yellow ceiling light. This opens a door in the control panel
revealing a Ring of Shadows.
5. There is a shootable button on top of the container to the right of the
exit slipgate. Jump up and shoot the button: this causes extra blocks to
slide out allowing you to climb on top of the containers. Behind them you
can drop down into a passageway containing a 100 health powerup.
Level HIP1M2 - Storage Facility (3 secrets)
-------------------------------------------
1. Before you reach the gold key room, you'll pass along a ledge that
overlooks the start area. On the far side you'll see a slope going up.
Shoot the wall immediately to the left of the slope to open a room with a
Quad Damage powerup. There are some narrow ledges to your left you can use
to reach it.
2. In the gold key room, there's some yellow armour on top of one of the
boxes (under the walkway). Jump from the adjacent pile of boxes.
3. The exit to the secret level (HIP1M5: Military Complex) is that door you
can see above and to the left of the forcefield bridge. If you shoot the
button above the entrance to the corridor leading to the forcefield bridge,
it opens the door and extends a walkway to the silver key ledge, but it
closes soon after. If you're playing co-operative, player 1 can shoot the
button and player 2 (waiting on the ledge) can collect the secret. In
single-player mode, shoot a proximity mine onto the button, then saunter
round to the silver key ledge and wait for the mine to explode.
Level HIP1M3 - The Lost Mine (3 secrets)
----------------------------------------
1. Go down the main mine entrance and outrun the boulder. A bit further
down you'll notice some energy cells on a ledge (actually a pipe) above you.
Look to your left and you'll see that the path you came down does meet up
with the pipe. Jump on top of the pipe and follow it round. At the corner
you'll find a door with some red armour behind it.
2. A bit further on in the mine you have to shoot some exploding boxes to
open up the tunnel. There are some boulders to the left of the exploding
boxes that you can - just - climb onto (use the rail that's sticking up at
an angle). On the topmost boulder you'll find a light on the floor: walk
over it to reveal a Ring of Shadows behind the control panel you passed on
your way to the exploding boxes.
3. Through the silver door and into the machinery room (the one with the
door leading to the crushing machines). In the opposite corner to that door
(i.e. on your left as you enter) is an alcove with a button. Pressing it
opens the bars to your left: jump up into the gap, then jump on top of the
bars as they close. You're making for that upper walkway to your right: at
the far end is a 100% health powerup.
Level HIP1M4 - Research Facility (3 secrets)
--------------------------------------------
1. At the far end of the room with the silver key (i.e. under the ramp) a
panel to the right opens to reveal some armour and ammo. To open it, go to
the top of the ramps then dash back down before it closes.
2. Go through the silver door and ride the elevator. At the far end of the
room is a control panel on the right: there is a button on the far side of
this control panel. Push the button: a door in the control panel will open
to reveal a box of nails.
3. Stand in front of the gold door and look to your left. High up on the
wall, above the bottom of the ramp, is a blue light (this light is not
visible when you're standing on the ramp itself). Shoot the light for a box
of nails.
+ One of the "finish camera views" (i.e. a view you get when you finish
the level) shows the entrance to the Research Facility. Visible on the roof
is some yellow armour: the only legitimate way to get the armour is to
perform a rocketjump from the lower balcony (reached via the portal in the
room opposite the slipgate to the exit). The cost to your health would
probably outweigh any benefit from the armour, except in deathmatch where it
might make a reasonable sniper spot.
Level HIP1M5 - Military Complex (7 secrets)
-------------------------------------------
This level is reached from the "secret" exit on HIP1M2 (Storage Facility).
1. From the start point, jump in the water and swim straight ahead. There
is a shootable button in a shaft in the ceiling, at the right-angle bend.
An elevator will lift you to an alcove with 100% health.
2. In the section with the 3 buttons you have to push, go to the area on
the right. Some bad guys will be shooting you from a room high up. In the
ceiling of that room is a red button: shoot it to lower an elevator to that
room and a 100% health powerup.
3. Having got the previous secret, check out the other area (i.e. to the
left of your entry point) and look over the edge of the battlements. You'll
see an area of ground (beyond the moat) with some ammo. Jump over the edge
to reach it.
4. In the area with all the blocks (where you get ambushed) there is a clue
(an arrow pointing to the top of one of the blocks). Jump on top of that
block to reveal some red armour on top of another block.
5. Open the sewage system, then jump in the water. Under one of the
walkways is a Quad Damage.
6. On a ledge visible from the start point you'll see a super nailgun. You
can jump there from the balcony overlooking the start point.
7 On the walkway above and to the right of the gold door (you get there
on your way to the gold key) one of the wall textures is shifted down
slightly. Shoot the wall here to reveal a room with yellow armour.
Level HIP2M1 - Ancient Realms (8 secrets)
-----------------------------------------
1. At the start point, there's a shootable button high up to the left of
the entrance doors. This opens an underwater passage in that patch of water
to your left, leading to a 100% health powerup.
2. Stand in front of the door that hinges at the top (you don't need to
open it yet). Turn round and go under the walkway you have just walked
along. Shoot the right-hand end of the wall on your left. The wall opens,
revealing a room with red armour.
3. Open the door mentioned in #2 above, then jump on top of it (use the
walkway) and push the brick that's sticking out. This opens a room to your
right with a proximity gun and a switch behind some bars (this switch
operates an elevator: see #8 below).
4. There are 3 buttons you push to gain access to the silver key: one of
the buttons is within sight of the silver door, the other two have secrets
nearby. One has a shootable button low down, between the stairs up and the
stairs down. This opens a door to a room with Quad Damage.
5. At the second button there's a shootable button on the ceiling (hidden
behind the cross-rafters). This opens a room at the bottom of the stairs on
the right, with a 100% health powerup.
6. The empathy shield behind the crossbeams in the room behind the silver
door is a secret. Just shoot a rocket (or a grenade) at the crossbeams.
7. On the upper walkway overlooking the door that hinges at the top, shoot
the square window to reveal a Ring of Shadows.
8. Shoot the red button above the exit arch to lower the barrier mentioned
in #3 above. This allows you to ride the elevator to the room containing
the slipgate to the secret level HIP2M6 (The Gremlin's Domain).
Level HIP2M2 - The Black Cathedral (5 secrets)
----------------------------------------------
1. In the library, one of the bookcases opens to reveal stairs down to a
Pentagram of Protection.
2. Elsewhere in the cathedral (i.e. not in the library) you will find a
lone bookcase with a book sticking out. Fix that. The bookcase now moves
sideways to reveal an alcove with Quad Damage.
3. Stand in front of the gold door. Don't go through: instead, turn and go
up the stairs. In the large room with the button, there's a secret room to
the right of the stairs up: it's the block of stone arranged vertically
rather than horizontally. Just shoot it.
4. In the altar room, stand behind the lectern and look at the ceiling.
There is a red button just visible on the side of one of the rafters. Shoot
it and the left-hand pew moves back revealing a teleport in the floor,
leading to the rafters over the start point and a 100% health.
5. In the area with the collapsing floor revealing lava underneath, push
the button and look back the way you came. Above the doorway you'll see a
block with a cross on it. Shoot the cross: this opens up a passage to your
right, leading to 100% health and (eventually) the start/exit point.
+ For a nasty surprise, shoot the "jesus" wall decoration in the altar
room. (Save game first!)
Level HIP2M3 - The Catacombs (4 secrets)
----------------------------------------
1. From the start, go over the hump-back bridge and stop in front of the
plank across the lava. Turn around and look up: you'll see a cave with cell
ammo above the corridor you've just walked along. Jump on the boulders to
reach it.
2. Open the drawbridge and enter the building. Go along the corridor until
you reach the doors on your right. Don't go through: instead, carry along
to the end of the corridor and jump up at the torch on the wall. A section
of corridor opens up, revealing a teleport to an area with a perforator and
some nails.
3. After activating the spiral staircase in the floor, go down the
staircase and enter the room with the gold door. Shoot the cross on the
wall to the right of the gold door and a 100% health powerup will appear.
4. Open the silver door and enter the room. As you walk up the exit
stairs, look to your right. You'll see some short beams (in the form of
steps up) set into the wall. Hop up these and walk along the ledge. You
will enter a room with a hole in the floor. Fall down the hole for an
Empathy Shield.
Level HIP2M4 - The Crypt (6 secrets)
------------------------------------
1. From the start, go down the steps and enter the room to your left (up
the short set of steps and through the door). This room contains a bookcase
and 3 coffins. Jump on top of the bookcase (use the steps): this opens a
panel in the wall opposite, revealing an alcove with a Horn of Conjouring.
2. In the same room as #1, jump into one of the coffins. This transports
you to an area with a Mjolnir.
3. From the start, go along the hallway to the right of the entrance to #1.
Turn right and ride the air vent (to the lever that allows you to reach the
Pentagram of Protection). Instead of pushing the lever, walk along the
ledge to your right, then continue walking along the stone lintel. The wall
ahead of you opens, revealing some rockets.
4. Having got the Pentagram of Protection mentioned in #3, go straight
along the corridor and onto the bridge/walkway over the lava. As soon as
you can, jump over the side of the walkway: you'll land on a sloping ledge
just above the lava. Now walk back until you're standing under the start of
the walkway: the wall will open in front of you, the message "The Levelord
is impressed" will be displayed, and you'll be credited with another secret.
5. In the area with the coffin lids stacked messily, climb to the top of
the stack. A room with an empathy shield is revealed.
6. Get the gold key, then look out of the rightmost window (for want of a
better word). To your right, you'll see a sloping ledge running above the
silver door. Walk along this ledge and a section of wall will open,
revealing a passage to a laser cannon and (via an elevator) red armour.
Level HIP2M5 - Mortum's Keep (6 secrets)
----------------------------------------
1. Opposite the drawbridge leading to the gold door, you will see some
boxes of nails behind some bars. To open the bars, shoot the gargoyle face
above the doorway.
2. As the bars rise, jump on top of them. When they're at maximum height
you can jump at the rectangular panel in the wall which opens to reveal some
red armour.
3. There is a secret room above the entrance portal, containing a Mjolnir.
Jump there from the balcony.
4. In the room with the long I-shaped object in the middle, jump onto the
pad in the middle of the "I". A nearby door will open, revealing stairs up
to the ogre platform and a 100% health powerup.
5. In the room behind the gold door (the one with the pool of slime in the
middle) there is a brick sticking out of the wall. This opens a door
opposite, revealing some yellow armour.
6. In the room with the blocks piled up, jump from pile to pile. A door
opens revealing a teleport to the roof above. A Quad Damage powerup awaits.
+ Cheat your way onto the top of the pillar to the right of the exit arch.
You get a message "The Levelord giggles."
Level HIP2M6 - The Gremlin's Domain (6 secrets)
-----------------------------------------------
This level is reached from the "secret" exit on HIP2M1 (Ancient Realms).
1. Down the stairs from he start you'll find a room with an ogre behind
some bars on your left. Shoot the wall below and to the right of the bars
to reveal an elevator to the ogre platform and some yellow armour.
2. In the room with the slit windows (i.e. the room you swim up to after
grabbing the silver key) shoot the red symbol above the exit staircase.
This lowers the pillar in the middle of the room with the gold door,
revealing a red symbol in the exact centre of the ceiling. Shoot it: a side
passage (with steps up) appears leading to a ledge with a Thunderbolt.
3. On your way to the silver key you'll find a wetsuit. Open the doors to
your right: you'll see a red button near the ceiling. Shoot this button to
open a door in the ceiling of the flooded passageway, allowing you to
surface and grab a Quad Damage.
4. In the underwater area with the silver key, shoot the square panel on
the side wall. This opens up, revealing a passage leading up to the Mjolnir
you could see behind the red symbol mentioned in the previous item.
5. The stained-glass window directly opposite the silver door is darker
than the others. Shoot it to reveal a teleport to a room with red armour
and rockets.
6. In the room overlooking the exit arch, shoot the head on the wall
opposite the windows. This opens to reveal a Ring of Shadows.
Level HIP3M1 - Tur Torment (6 secrets)
--------------------------------------
1. From the start, walk to the ledge where you call up the cable car. To
your left is a narrow ledge: as you walk along the ledge a wall opens,
revealing some rockets.
2. Shoot the red button in the middle of the ceiling of the long spiral
staircase. This opens the gargoyle wall panel revealing a Ring of Shadows.
3. Having got the silver key, look over the edge and jump onto the top of
the cablecar track and walk back towards the start. As you reach the left
turn in the track, you will see some rockets on a ledge away to your right.
Jump from ledge to ledge to reach them.
4. From the previous secret, follow the ledges round the edge until you
beginning of the cable car track (i.e. above the start point). Look over
the sloping roof to your left and you'll see a 100% health on a ledge below
you.
5. In front of the upper set of silver doors are three gargoyle heads on
the wall. Push the leftmost one: it swings back revealing a ramp up to a
Quad Damage powerup.
6. Go through the upper set of doors and start down the stairs to your
right. Ahead and slightly above you, a brick is sticking out of the wall,
right in the corner. Shoot it and a 100% health box appears on the ledge,
and two blocks move out of the wall, allowing you to jump across.
+ From secret #3, continue up the (increasingly narrow) ledges to your
right. At the very top, you get the message "You're not supposed to be
here!" - from here you can jump down to the roof where the silver key was.
Level HIP3M2 - Pandemonium (5 secrets)
--------------------------------------
1. From the start point, go up the stairs and stand at the top. Now shoot
the yellow light to the left of the cauldron. A door opens behind you,
revealing a nailgun.
2. From the start, go down the corridor ahead of you. Some bad guys will
be shooting at you from a room to your left. Go all the way round this room
and shoot the grating on its back wall. The grating will lower, allowing
you into the room. (This is the one revealed in the "demo loop" shown before
you start a game).
3. Behind the bars that block the passage to the silver key, shoot the wall
to your left. This reveals a passage to the Thunderbolt under the stairs.
4. Shoot the wall behind the silver key (in fact you'll probably do this
while trying to kill the Vore). This reveals a teleport to the rafters
above, with assorted ammo.
5. Having got the gold key, look over the edge. There is a shootable
button on top of a pillar below you. This opens a room to your left with
Quad Damage.
Level HIP3M3 - Limbo (4 secrets)
--------------------------------
1. From the start, go down the spiral stairs until you reach two gargoyle
faces on the wall to your left. Shoot the cross to the left of them and a
wall opens opposite, revealing a Mjolnir and some ammo.
2. From the area with the silver key, go down the sloping water channel.
Underwater and directly ahead of you is a block of a different texture:
shoot it and swim through to reach a 100% health box.
3. Shoot the wall behind and to the right of the gold key for some yellow
armour.
4. Shooting the red button above the arch in the silver key room and the
cross above the arch in the gold key room opens the barriers in the water
beneath them. Half-way along this water channel you can swim down and to
one side to gain access to the room with the secret exit (to HIPDM1 - The
Edge Of Oblivion).
Level HIP3M4 - The Gauntlet (6 secrets)
---------------------------------------
1. Shoot the four gargoyle faces once. On the first shot, they bleed.
This reveals a floor switch which, when pressed, raises some red armour from
beneath the floor.
2. Ride the large lift, then shoot the gargoyle face on the wall to your
left. The wall opposite opens, revealing a 100% health powerup.
3. Behind the silver door, shoot the wall to the right of the stairs. It
opens, revealing a teleport to the Quad Damage you can see in the rafters.
4. Above the silver door, a brick is sticking out. Jump from the top of
the staircase to reach it. This opens a doorway to your left. Jump across
and follow the corridor to reach "THE" secret area, with a Pentagram of
Protection. Shoot the ceiling button to start the symbol rotating (for what
it's worth...)
5. From the "suspension" bridge across the circular red patch of water,
jump in the water and swim through the underwater opening to one side. This
takes you to a room with yellow armour and a teleport back to the bridge.
6. After going for a swim in the underwater tunnel, you'll emerge in a room
with a large gargoyle face on the wall and some stairs up (these stairs lead
to the room with the exit portal). Push the wall between the gargoyle face
and the stairs: it hinges back, revealing a 100% health powerup and some
ammo.
Level HIPEND - Armagon's Lair
-----------------------------
There are no secrets on this level. One playing hint:
+ Armagon (the end-of-game boss) won't arrive until you step into the
middle of the arena. As he arrives, run back and grab the Pentagram of
Protection.
Level HIPDM1 - The Edge of Oblivion
-----------------------------------
This level is reached from the "secret" exit on HIP3M3 (Limbo).
There are no secrets on this level: given that it's meant to be a
deathmatch-only level, this shouldn't be too surprising.

MISSION PACK 2 (Dissolution of Eternity)
----------------------------------------
Secrets marked with the attribution "slp" were discovered by yours truly.
Secrets marked "BraFish" were taken from the list compiled by Brandon Fish
at The Quake Stomping Grounds.
Mission Pack 2 - List of levels
-------------------------------
Mission pack 2 levels fall into 2 different episodes, although in practice
you would play them in a linear fashion, i.e. at the end of episode 1 you
proceed directly to the start of episode 2. It is not clear why the "start"
level gives you the choice of episodes, because if you start with episode 2
you'll never actually play episode 1. Ho hum.

Nightmare Mode
--------------
To enter Nightmare mode, pull down the console and enter: skill 3
There is supposed to be another method, involving shooting buttons hidden
behind portals and riding elevators hidden next to teleport pads, but it's
too much trouble.
Level R1M1 - Deviant's Domain (4 secrets)
-----------------------------------------
1. Jump into the moat. There's a radiation suit down there, and one area
underwater counts as a secret. The elevator out is to one side of the
"start" bank. - slp
2. The central (iron) structure inside the first building you enter
contains a teleport at ground level. To get there, go up the ramp and
persuade the elevator to go up, then duck underneath the elevator. - slp
3. After the silver key, you'll go down an elevator and have to jump over
some slime. Go into that slime and there's an enviro suit to help you keep
going to another place where you can rise out of the liquid to a secret
area. - BraFish
4. At the far end of the second boat ride, there's a shootable button above
the inside of the doorway by the jetty. This gives you access to a power
shield on the opposite bank. - slp
Level R1M2 - Dread Portal (4 secrets)
-------------------------------------
1. In the start room, jump into any of the pools of water. You find
yourself in a flooded room. Push the button on the side wall: the structure
in the middle of the room opens up. Swim inside and drop down for a Quad
Damage and a teleport out. - slp
2. Also underwater, you'll notice that there are 4 exits to get up to the
air. The extra one is the one to the left of the button. Just go up that
way to a small hallway with assorted items. - BraFish
3. Get the silver key, ride the elevator and drop down the hole in the
floor. A door at the far end of the corridor will open for a short while,
revealing some yellow armour. - slp
4. After the blue key door, jump across the moving platform over the lava.
An elevator will take you down to a small room with monsters. On the far
wall are two buttons. Make sure you don't press the button on the right.
Instead, press the one on the left and the ceiling will start to drop on
you. There will only be a small opening for you prevent yourself from being
smushed. Once it's down, jump up onto it and wait for it to rise. At the
top there will be a passage for you to follow which leads to a drop into the
secret area. - BraFish
Level R1M3 - Judgement Call (6 secrets)
---------------------------------------
1. From the start point, go to the ledge overlooking the cavern. Below you
(and to either side) is another ledge containing a Quad Damage and some lava
nails. - slp
2. Shoot the large crcular stained glass window. A small room to your left
opens up, containing some yellow armour. - slp
3. In the room with the button that opens the underwater passage, there's a
red button up high on the opposite wall. This opens up a room with a
radiation suit away to your left. - slp
4. From the secret room with a radiation suit, there's another room with
some ammo (presumably opened at the same time) on the opposite side of the
elevator. - slp
5. When you go underwater, from the area in secret numbers 3 and 4, you'll
see that one of the lights is flashing. Rise to the surface and shoot the
light. Doing so opens a wall underneath the water. - BraFish
6. When you go through the gold door, an ogre will come out of the wall on
your left. Just jump back up into the same wall. - BraFish
Level R1M4 - Cave of Death (4 secrets)
--------------------------------------
1. In the area where you have to press 3 buttons, there's also a shootable
button which allows you access to a secret area in a passage to the right of
the exit from that area. Here you will find a Ring of Shadows. - slp
2. When you get to a large circular room with water in the bottom, and
platforms above, jump in the water. Follow along the outside walls
underwater and you'll pass behind a barrier with items behind it. There is
also another barrier on the other side that has the bars to the underwater
passage way. - Brafish
3. At the end of the ride, cross the rickety bridge and look back
underneath the bridge. There's a shootable button on the wall, which opens
a room with a 100% health powerup. - slp
4. At the end of the level, with the room filled with lava, there is a
ledge above you on the right that you can't jump up to. When you first
enter the room, look to your left and you'll see a steel elevator that can
take you up, but it won't become active until you climb all the way to the
top of the wooden spiral. Just climb the spiral and jump back down to the
elevator. - BraFish
Level R1M5 - Towers of Wrath (7 secrets)
----------------------------------------
1. From the start, go out cross the safe passage and take the passageway to
the left. Follow the walkway that's on the right side of a room half filled
with lava. At the end of the hallway in the next area, shoot the light in
the ceiling and a teleporter will be revealed. It takes you to the "cage"
over the lava. - BraFish
2. At one point your path travels straight past a lava river on your left
with some bad guys on a platform on the other side. As you make your way up
the exit corridor, a door opens behind you revealing a room with a Power
Shield and some armour. - slp
3. Near the silver door, there's a patch of water. Step into the water and
shoot the red button at surface level behind the steps. Nearby, a piece of
floor moves aside, allowing you access to a flooded room with a Pentagram of
Protection. - slp
4. In the room of the silver key, look straight ahead from the cage the key

Level R1M6 - Temple of Pain (5 secrets)

1. In the first building you enter, you have to go up an elevator and then
jump down a shaft into a pool of water. Follow under the water until you
come up in a hallway. At the other end of the hallway, you'll see a piece
of wood sticking out of the ceiling. Jump up to touch it, and a teleporter
to the Pentagram opens. - BraFish
2. In the cemetry, go to the area with the pentagram walkway above you.
There are some ledges jutting out of the wall you can jump onto (the first
is on one of the angled supports). This gets you on top of the pentagram
where you can collect the red armour. - slp
3. To get the thunderbolt on the platform in front of the exit door, shoot
the ceiling decoration to raise a step.
4. In the room behind the silver door, there's a Quad damage on the U-
shaped walkway. Use the antigrav belt to reach it. - slp
5. Having got the gold key, jump into the small patch of water by the blood
altar. This lowers underwater bars allowing you to grab the Power Shield. -

Level R1M7 - Tomb of the Overlord (4 secrets)
---------------------------------------------
1. At the beginning of the level, you have to press 4 buttons to awake the
zombies. One of the buttons resides at the bottom of a ramp with shooting
spikes along the way. At the very end of the spikes, you'll notice that the
last spike shooter on the left isn't shooting, and is a little darker than
the others. Press it, and half of the ramp opens up. - BraFish
2. When you jump down the hole after hitting the four buttons, there will
be a pillar in the room that has the "death" stained glass on all four
sides. On one side however, the textures is reversed. Shoot it, and the
glass drops down and you can get inside. - BraFish
3. Not far from the gold key, there's a room with a pool of water on one
side and some blocks sticking out of the wall. Jump from block to block:
you'll go all the way around the room in a spiral climb until you reach an
alcove with Quad Damage. - slp
4. Where you extend the bridge over the toxic moat, jump in. There's a
power shield under the water to your right. - slp
Level R2M1 - Tempus Fugit (3 secrets)

1. As you make your way along the long underwater section on the way to the
gold key, an alcove opens ahead of you, revealing a 100% health powerup. -

2. Above the gold door is a ledge to the left. Down the end of the hallway
of the ledge you can shoot the wall on the left side. - BraFish
3. In the clearing with the two statues on plinths that DON'T come to life,
jump onto the Quake statue in the middle. This transports you to one of the
ledges opposite, where you can jump across and grab the 100% health. - slp
Level R2M2 - Elemental Fury I (2 secrets)

1. From the start, go across the bridge turn right. After pressing the
button that you need to get, fall underneath the block that's moving in a
vertical manner. - BraFish
2. From the Air Base, shoot each of the four numbers on each air duct. It
activates a lift behind the exit which takes you up to the Quad Damage.

Level R2M3 - Elemental Fury II (1 secret)

1. In the Fire section, you'll pass over a hump and go to a place which has
nail shooters leading to nowhere for no apparent reason. There is a fake
wall, which you can walk through after the nail shooters which takes you
below the "hump". Inside, there is a shootable switch which raises some
steps to the nearby 100 health. - BraFish
Level R2M4 - Curse of Osiris (5 secrets)

1. When you get the gravity belt, look to the right and on the ceiling in
the corner is a red button. Shooting it opens an alcove. - BraFish
2. At the indoor "boat", if you go to the opposite side and jump to one of
the beams, you can see steps on the side of the boat. Jump to the steps and
climb to the roof of the ship. - BraFish
3. At each cobra statue, there is a red light on the opposite wall.
Shooting the light moves the cobra and you can drop into a secret area. -

5. At the end of the level with the Gold pyramid, shoot the left wall and a
teleporter is behind it. - BraFish
Level R2M5 - Wizard's Keep (4 secrets)

1. At the beginning, when you go down the elevator, there are two
bookcases. Between them a wooden piece is sticking out of the wall. Jump
up and hit it, and a case opens. - BraFish
2. In one part of the level, you'll happen upon a red pole sticking out of
the ceiling, surrounded by some sharp spikes. Jump over the spikes and hit
the pole. A secret area opens in the next room. - BraFish
3. The silver key overlooks a bloody shrine with candles on the shelves
behind it. A candle in the middle is dark. Shoot it and a panel will open
on the altar revealing a button. Shoot it, and one of the stained glass
windows retracts. - BraFish
4. When you reach a bright stained glass window at the end of a hallway,
shoot it. Momentarily, a platform will be activated beneath you which takes
you up to the overlooking niche. - BraFish
Level R2M6 - Blood Sacrifice (5 secrets)
----------------------------------------
1. At the beginning, you go through an area with spikes shooting up at you
and you reach a corner with two faces. The one on the left shoots more
spikes. To open the one on the right, turn around and jump up to touch the
snake head, sticking out of the corner. - BraFish
2. After you ride the moving platform over the lava, there will be some
skulls on the left, and a texture that is slight miss aligned straight
ahead, and a little to the right. You should be able to see light coming
from it. Just walk right through it. - BraFish
3. After going past a sawblade in the ceiling, you can shoot the wall to
the left and it opens to a nifty stash. - BraFish
4. When standing at the giant frog and facing it, turn to the left and
shoot the wall in the next passage. (You have to open the bars first in the
room to the right). - BraFish
5. Down that same passage you'll pass under a long wooden beam, and come to
a pair of skull pillars with a skull platform between them. Jump up on top
of it, and it opens a secret door at the end of the halway. Inside the
secret door is a teleporter which takes you to the area on top of the wooden
beam. - BraFish
Level R2M7 - Last Bastion (5 secrets)

1. In the moat, on the left is an underwater passage to some armor. -

2. After the squishing trap and the swinging blades, you'll be faced with
some slime and a lightning bolt ahead. Above the bolt is a red switch.
Shooting it reveals a side panel next to the slime. - BraFish
3. Go behind the squisher in squish trap to reach a button that opens a
secret door past the silver key doors. - BraFish
4. When you get dropped down to "join the zombies", you must go down two
opposite hallways to press a button at the end of each one to get out. In
each hallway there is two candles. Shoot all four of them, and a secret
door opens back where you fell down. - BraFish
5. After you lower the drawbridge and open the portcullis, go across and
you'll take an elevator to a gray area. On the upper left-hand side you'll
see a red switch that you shoot. Stairs come out of the wall so that you
can get on top of the wooden perch above. - BraFish
