  1. Drawn fonts can be used for SMALL quantities of
  2. text that needs to be manipulated in unusual ways.
  3. E.g. you can draw the text at any angle and 
  4. itilicise it to any degree. You can also change
  5. the line-colours, fill-colours and line-widths.

  9. Some of the fonts were drawn with a grid-lock, most
  10. are in centimeters, but some are in inches. If you 
  11. switch on a grid-lock that matches the characters
  12. you will find it much easier to manipulate them.

  15. Some fonts (e.g. Cyber, Homertn) draw very quickly,
  16. and others (e.g. Camelot, Script) draw very slowly.
  17. This is because DRAW can FILL an area quickly, but
  18. is comparatively slow at drawing thick lines. If you
  19. want to manipulate a lot of text it is not a good
  20. idea to use a slow font.

  22. It is usually a good idea to select your letters
  23. and build up your text first, make your text into 
  24. a group, and delete all the unused letters before
  25. starting to do any twisting, stretching or 
  26. italicising.

  28. To italicise a group of letters. Stretch them,
  29. rotate them through an angle of about 45 degrees,
  30. un-stretch them, and rotate them back.
