Who are the PDSCC ???????? Promotional Designs Serving Commerce and CHARITIES
We are a group of people mainly retired - raising money for charities in a new and novel approach.
With retirement, aspirations wane, most people seem content to rest on their laurels, failing to fill the void that has been created. Lethargy may lead todegeneration instead of looking to determination.
THERE IS LIFE AFTER RETIREMENT !! 'HOW','WHAT','WHEN','WHERE','WHY', depends largely on one's capabilities. EVERYONE has something to offer, mindful of their 'ego', perhaps more to those NOT IN THE POSITION TO HELP THEMSELVES.
The Formation of the PDSCC is to apply a commonsense approach to problems.
The saying goes, 'a problem shared is a problem halved'. With the PDSCC it
could be a problem shared by a team of people. With a business, ideas, or
suggestions can lead to a profitable result for all concerned. Infact, you
could say the PDSCC is a 'Public Organisation and Methods Team', or, as a
'Public Think Tank'. The maxim being - there is always a better way of doing anything, anytime, anywhere.
The only charge we make* is if the PDSCC helps any person or business etc,
that may lead to a profitable conclusion, then that person or business etc
will send us a cheque, (THE AMOUNT WILL USUALLY BE LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF
THE PERSON, OR, BUSINESS), and nominate a charity from our list, or a charity
of their own choice to benefit from a donation we would make on their behalf.
* EXCEPTION - Where a member has an individual 'Idea' or, 'Suggestion' that could be a possible "INVENTION" or "DESIGN" that could lead to a PATENT, the PDSCC will consult both our Chartered Patent & Trade Mark Agents & Solicitorson their behalf.
The MOTTO of the PDSCC is "CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME' and is preparing a list of THE LESSER KNOWN CHARITIES who in their own right are just as important tohelp as the LARGE MONEY SPENDING CHARITIES.
