Printed Circuit Board Layout
Whilst there are a small number of PCB packages available for use
on the Archimedes many people find that !Draw is a useful tool for
developing small circuit boards. To help with this !Holes is a
small application to place white spaces in the centre of each pad.
It is essential that the application holes is placed in your
librarydirectory and that your library is set up correctly using
the*lib command.
It is recommended that the original file is not overwritten since
the extra white spots added will make subsequent editing the file
much harder.
1) Copy the files to the appropriate directories
on your hard disk.
$.fonts.PCB_Pads into !Fonts
$.library.holes into library
$.system.modules.DDEUtils into !system
$.system.modules.FrontEnd into !system
2) Check that your library directory is set up correctly
3) copy !holes to an appropriate place
4) use !holes by typing holes <infile> <outfile>
to the command line prompt
OR run !holes - drag in the file to be processed
then drag the result to a filer window
or application.
