  1. Printed Circuit Board Layout
  2. Whilst there are a small number of PCB packages available for use
  3. on the Archimedes many people find that !Draw is a useful tool for
  4. developing small circuit boards. To help with this !Holes is a
  5. small application to place white spaces in the centre of each pad.
  6. It is essential that the application holes is placed in your
  7. librarydirectory and that your library is set up correctly using
  8. the*lib command.
  9.  
  10. It is recommended that the original file is not overwritten since
  11. the extra white spots added will make subsequent editing the file
  12. much harder.

  15. 1) Copy the files to the appropriate directories
  16.    on your hard disk. 
  17.    $.fonts.PCB_Pads           into !Fonts
  18.    $.library.holes            into library
  19.    $.system.modules.DDEUtils  into !system
  20.    $.system.modules.FrontEnd  into !system
  21.  
  22. 2) Check that your library directory is set up correctly
  23.  
  24. 3) copy !holes to an appropriate place
  25.  
  26. 4) use !holes by typing holes <infile> <outfile>
  27.    to the command line prompt
  28.  
  29. OR run !holes - drag in the file to be processed
  30.                 then drag the result to a filer window
  31.                 or application.
