Version 1.00 through to 1.30 were basically working programs but were gradually improved by 1.30 to:
* allow starting at any question
* Altered the menu structure
* Allowed a score so far in case children were called away
* Tidied up some errors in making a new file
* Revamped the file checking to ensure that files were not overwritten.
1.31 Somehow a bug slipped into this one so that the make a quiz option didn't work at all.
1.32 Repaired the lack of a quiz editor
1.42 Program taken out of PD and made into a Modern Language version for Hampshire
Required the movement of some of the items on screen to cater for longer sentences in other languages!
The original copy was then lost at BETT 93 so a further version 1.42 was made from memory- hope this explains the differences if you happen to have found that one master disc!!!
1.50 came from a suggestion by Bill Brook of the Slough advisory team (and one or two others) to add a scoring system. Bill asked for the CSV option to be added so that children's scores could be saved and loaded into a spreadsheet for analysis. The program had also been put back into PD as Hampshire schools didn't want it!!!! This version has a slight problem in the language side that the scores will always be in English -- oh I wish I was a modern linguist!
1.51had the scores being re loaded for further children to use the program, and the high score chart saying what the quiz was about.
