  5. R4 - QRM chopping you up, got a little.
  6. R3 - Got practically nothing but squeeks.
  7. R2 - (this is an insult - never use it).
  8. R1 - I am trying to be funny.

  10. S9 - Strong as heck (or "pse QSL").
  11. S8 - Above average signal.
  12. S7 - Average signal (also is the only correct report for use during
  13.      contests).
  14. S6 - Below average signal.
  15. S5 - Weak as the devil - dont want your QSL anyhow.
  16. S4 - I think thats you in the mud.
  17. S3 - (Never use this report - no receiver can be this punk).
  18. S2 - (Obsolete term - has not been used since 1938).
  19. S1 - (Given to S9 locals as a joke).
  20.  
  21. T9 - Your signal sounds as though you have a DC plate supply.
  22. T8 - Your note is very rough.
  23. T7 - Your note is terrible. Better QRT before FCC catches you.
  24. T6, T5, T4, T3, T2 - (Insult, never use these reports).
  25. T1 - (Given to locals as a joke).
