  2. Political (and other) computer virii explained

  5. FEDERAL BUREAUCRAT VIRUS : Divides your hard disk into hundreds of little  
  6. units, each of which do practically nothing, but all of which claim to be  
  7. the most important part of the computer.
  8.  
  9. DAN QUAYLE VIRUS : Their is sumthing rong with yor compueter, ewe just  
  10. can't figyour out watt.
  11.  
  12. GALLUP VIRUS : Sixty percent of the PCs infected will lose 38 percent of  
  13. their data 14 percent of the time (plus or minus a 3.5 percent margin of  
  14. error).

  16. PAUL REVERE VIRUS : This revolutionary virus does not horse around. It  
  17. warns you of impending hard disk attack---once if by LAN, twice if by C:.
  18.  
  19. POLITICALLY CORRECT VIRUS : Never calls itself a "virus", but instead  
  20. refers to itself as an "electronic microorganism".

  22. RIGHT TO LIFE VIRUS : Won't allow you to delete a file, regardless of how  
  23. old it is. If you attempt to erase a file, it requires you to first see a  
  24. counselor about possible alternatives.

  26. ROSS PEROT VIRUS : Activates every component in your system, just before  
  27. the whole thing quits.

  29. MARIO CUOMO VIRUS : It would be a great virus, but it refuses to run.

  31. OPRAH WINFREY VIRUS : Your 200MB hard drive suddenly shrinks to 80MB, and  
  32. then slowly expands back to 200MB.

  34. AT&T VIRUS : Every three minutes it tells you what great service you are  
  35. getting.

  37. THE MCI VIRUS : Every three minutes it reminds you that you're paying too  
  38. much for the AT&T virus.

  40. TED TURNER VIRUS : Colorizes your monochrome monitor.

  42. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER VIRUS : Terminates and stays resident. It'll be back!

  44. DAN QUAYLE VIRUS : Prevents your system from spawning any child processes  
  45. without joining into a binary network.

  47. GOVERNMENT ECONOMIST VIRUS : Nothing works, but all your diagnostic  
  48. software says everything is fine.

  50. NEW WORLD ORDER VIRUS : Probably harmless, but it makes a lot of people  
  51. really mad just thinking about it.

  53. AIRELINE VIRUS:  You're in Dallas, but your data is in Singapore.
