!Ice 1.06 (20-April-1991) By Jonathan Hunt, © Arcus 1991
-----------------------------------------------------------
Name: Mouse Ice
Purpose: To make the mouse pointer slide around the desktop
as if it were skating on ice.
Author: Jonathan Hunt
Version: 1.06 (20-April-1991)
-----------------------------------------------------------
This is a multi-tasking program that will freeze up the
desktop, covering it with an invisible layer of ice.
Because ice is slippery, the pointer cannot get a firm grip
onto the screen making it harder to control. Some parts of
the desktop will become more slippery then others, so the
pointer will move faster in these areas.
Things that will slow down the pointer are:-
Dragging windows
Dragging scroll-bars
A desktop with many applications running
When the computer is working hard
The ice can always be melted by opening the Task display
and quitting the 'Mouse Ice' application from there, or by
holding down both Alt keys.
Note
----
You can only have one 'Mouse Ice' application running
at once. It just isn't cold enough to get two of them
going!
