Before you use the DDLI, it is very important that you read certain
parts of the documentation. The most important of these is "How to Use the
DDLI." This not only explains program usage; it explains what you should
bear in mind when you are trying to answer the questions. You should also
read "Understanding the Results of the DDLI." This will help you understand
how to use the results of the program to figure out your type.
It is important that you realize that the DDLI might not be
terribly reliable, and that you can do your part to make it more reliable.
To make it more reliable, I need to get FEEDBACK on how each of the 16
types tends to answer each question. Any feedback you give me will remain
confidential, and I will put your name and type in the acknowledgements
only if you give me explicit permission.
Please note however that your feedback will be most valuable if you
already know your type. If you have taken the MBTI, or you have determined
your type by some other means, your feedback will be valuable. But if all
you have to go on are the results of the DDLI, your feedback will not be as
helpful. But if you can verify or disconfirm your results on the DDLI by
reading descriptions of the types and figuring out which one best fits you,
your feedback will be valuable.
Finally, I can't stress enough how important your feedback will be
to the development of the DDLI. Without feedback, I cannot hone the
questions in the DDLI and so make it more reliable. For further details,
read "How You Can Help" in the documentation.
