InScribe Options

InScribe lets you adjust many of its settings to make it more accurate, easier and more fun for you
to use.

Configure Options

Max Corner Angle lets you change the angle required to record a character. You may
want to try making this value smaller if you're seeing unwanted characters, or larger if you're
missing characters. If you make it 100 or less, you may need to make an explicit 'jog' in a box to
record more than two characters in the same row or column.

Pause Ratio allows you to configure the amount of time needed to record a character with
a pause. You may want to increase this if you're seeing unwanted characters, or decrease it if
you're missing characters.

Box Borders allows you to specify a number of pixels around the edge of a character box
which are inactive.

Pen Resolution allows you to set how many pixels the pen must move before its movement
is recognized. InScribe
may work better on different models of HPC with different settings for this option. You may want
to experiment with increasing this number if you're seeing unwanted characters.

Space on Pen Up will generate a space character each time you lift the pen up from the
screen.

Show Ink will draw the path of the pen on the screen, allowing you to see exactly
where it's been.

White Background will increase the character table contrast.

Reset Defaults resets all of the Configuration Options.

Other Options

Font ... lets you choose a typeface and size for the displayed text you input.

Text on Right switches the character table and the text display areas. You might
want to try this if you hold your stylus with your left hand.

Reset All resets all of InScribes settings, including the Configuration Options, Font,
character table position, size and layout.

Don't forget that you can resize the character table and text box by dragging the
resize bar between the two areas.
