  6. This is an unregistered version of ChemLab for evaluation purposes only.

  8. You may order a registered version of ChemLab by secure on-line registration at the Model Science web site.

The standard registered version includes additional lab modules, on-line support and access to the ChemLab update web site, where additional labs and updated software can be downloaded for free. The Professional version also includes a fully functional Lab Wizard tool for creating custom labs simulations.

  18. Requires Mac OS 7.0 (version 7.5 recommended)
  19. Power PC with 8MB of RAM (16MB Recommended)

  23. To install ChemLab 
  24.  
  25. ChemLab is installed using a Vise Setup program: "ChemLab20_PPC_Eval Install"
  26.  
  27. Run install program  "ChemLab20_PPC_Eval Install" then select: "Install" for easy install. This installation will create a "ChemLab folder" in the root of your boot drive.  If successful a dialogbox will appear select "Quit" and the install is done. To run ChemLab: open the "ChemLab folder" and start the ChemLab application file.  You may wish to add an alias on your desktop to the application file.

  31. Running ChemLab:

  33. 1. Start the ChemLab program in the ChemLab folder.
  34. 2. When ChemLab starts pick a simulation module to load from the simulation dialogbox. 
  35. 3. Read the lab introduction in the introduction text window. 
  36. 4. After reading the lab introduction read the procedure. 
  37. 5. Select the procedure tab above the text window. 
  38. 6. Then perform the lab following the steps in the procedure.

  40. While performing the procedure you can record your observations in the observation text window.
