  1. BNU for DOOM is a drop-in replacement
  2. for Id Software's SERSETUP.EXE provided
  3. with DOOM 1.2. This version, however, 
  4. provides a full and complete interrupt driven
  5. serial driver implementation and therefore
  6. does not suffer many of the shortcomings
  7. in Id's original driver which was much too
  8. simplistic to provide the services necessary
  9. for running on today's typical modem
  10. configurations or at faster speeds than
  11. 9600 baud.
