The Essential Beer Guide CD-ROM
Minimum System Requirements:
Windows: 486 / 66 MHz or greater, 8 MB RAM (PREFER 16 MB RAM especially for
Windows 95 users) or greater, Windows 3.1 or higher or Windows 95, QuickTime(tm)
for Windows (included on this CD)., 256 color display,
sound card, speakers or headphones, 4X CD-ROM drive or faster.
*** Set your monitor to 256 colors for faster playback, especially on slower
machines. ***
Macintosh: Apple Macintosh compatible computer w/ 68040 processor or higher,
System 7.0 or later, 8 MB RAM or greater, 4X CD-ROM drive,
QuickTime(tm)2.1, 256 color display.
Important Note - Windows users only:
In order for the videos to play you must have QuickTime(tm) for Windows installed
on your computer. If you do not have QuickTime(tm) for Windows installed, install
the QuickTime(tm) for Windows player, which we have included on this CD ROM. It is
located in the Qtime folder.
Installation instructions:
Windows: Double click or run Install.exe that you will find on the CD-ROM. A
program group called Beer will be set up. Make sure The Essential Beer Guide CD-ROM
is in your CD ROM drive and double click on the "Essential Beer" icon to begin.
Macintosh: Copy the Essential Beer MAC folder to your hard drive. With The Essential
Beer Guide CD-ROM in your CD ROM drive, double click on the "Essential Beer Guide"
icon (in the Essential Beer MAC folder) that is now installed on your hard drive to
begin.
IMPORTANT NOTE: you must have QuickTime(tm) installed in order to view the videos.
If you do not have QuickTime(tm) installed, simply drag both of the QuickTime(tm)
extensions located in the QuickTime folder on this CD, into your extensions folder.
