-
- Playing with a backup copy of F-15,you have to have the security of
- the game which appear only in the manual !!!!
-
- Due to this fact you must press just [ENTER], the game seems to be
- running.......BUT.... soon enough you will find that you can't change
- your weapons !!!!
-
- But...the mity persons above, set down and changed those codes to the
- most simplest codes...up coming is the way to change your own copy:
-
-
- To change the codes you need the following programs:
-
- 1) DEBUG.COM can be found on your DOS disk.
-
- and nothing more !!!!!!!
-
- All you have to do is follow these steps:
-
- 1) Run DEBUG.COM like this:
-
- A> DEBUG ( after typing the name hit [ENTER] )
-
- 2) Soon you'll get the prompt '-' ,then insert your copy of F-15
- into drive A: and enter the following command lines:
-
- - l 0 0 2a 1
- - f 99 l 10 20
- - w 0 0 2a 1
- - q
- A>
-
- 3) Then just boot the system and F-15 will run itself !
-
- When running the un-coded copy, when asked for your code just
- hit [ENTER] !!
-
- To check your de-coded copy: after hitting [ENTER] for the code
- prompt, try to switch between weapons ( try pressing 'M').

- Well, Microprose really goofed this time. I just bought F-15 Strike Eagle II
- and Microprose is still up to their key disk tricks. At least this time they
- didn't make me go searching through the manuals for pictures to compare.
-
- They've changed tactics from the old days in other ways as well. In F-19,
- the protection was divided between the SU.EXE and START.EXE files. In
- F-15 II, the protection is all in the F15.COM file. If you simply copy your
- F19.COM file into your F15 directory (You can replace F15.COM if you wish, but
- at this time, it is not even necessary to have it called F15.COM i.e. you can
- leave it called F19.COM and it will work 100%)
-
- The result is a faster boot, 100% unprotected.
