- vehicles and people stranded all over the city. The governor of
- FL is asking the president to declare the City a National Disaster
- Area. Temperatures today expected to reach the low 60's in that
- city as it recovers from the unusual weather.

- Abotion Clinic Bombed in Bayonne NJ, 6 persons killed and 15
- injured. Fundimentalist Extremists suspected responsible.

- Automatic Weapons were discovered on the site of Sundays Fire
- at the offices of "Positive Action Telemarketing, Inc.' in the
- front offices, according to arson investigators, along with
- religious tracts and other papers. Investigation continues,
- Police now suspecting possible Drug Ring or Satanic Cultists
- involved, details still being withheld from the press.

- Authorities Have determined the King of Spain's Death Was the result
- sabotage to his boat, not an accident as previously Thought. Interpol
- has been brought in to assist with the investigation.

- State Representative Lawrence Van Nohl's Home was robbed last night
- while he was away at the Ca. State Capitol. His daughter, a friend and
- two security officers were assaulted by a pair of thieves and left
- bound and gagged. Estimated $10,000 in cash and other valuable
- properties were stolen.
- Police say they have a videotape of one of the suspects and that
- they believe an arrest will follow shortly. They have not yet released
- the name of the suspect, pending arrest and arraignment.

- Animal Rights Activists broke into the Positive Thoughts Christian
- Fellowship Bookstore Last night in San Francisco to let loose the
- guard dog on the premisis. Nothing was stolen or damaged. Two officers
- passing the scene were assaulted by the activists, who numbered about
- a dozen in all, and were left stripped and handcuffed to their vehicle
- but otherwise suffered only superficial wounds. The group 'Green Now'
- has taken credit for the actions.

- A hundred people were arrested thismorning for violating
- Massachusetts Abortion Access Laws, at a Boston Abortion Clinic. The
- law, which prevents abortion protestors from blocking access to any
- medical facility has been in place since 1994, but this was the first
- mass arrest of people under the law. A similar law, with harsher
- penalties, is due for consideration of the CA. State House Later this
- year.

- The Body discovered at the site of Sunday's Fire at the Positive
- Action Telemarketing Inc has been identified as Dennis Carothers,
- a known felon and arsonist that was released from the state prison
- three months ago.
- His parole officer was shocked by the news as Carothers had
- acquired gainful employment as a fork-lift driver and was becoming an
- outstanding citizen thru his volunteer work with the Church of the
- Ultimate Revelation's Clothing drive for the Poor and homeless.
- Obviously he had died in the following of his old illegal profession.
- Police are now following leads as to who paid him for the burning of
- the office building.

- An armoured car robbery occured last night in St Louis, Mo. with
- the exact same style and means used at the robbery on Monday in
- Chicago of an armored car. An Estimated $15,000 was taken. FBI
- officials believe the same criminals are responsible for both acts
- and have issued a warning to all Armored courier services regarding
- the incident and has suggested the issuance of Gas masks to drivers
- and guards to prevent further usages of the potential nerve gas the
- attackers are using.

- A Funeral at the Tabernacle of The Church of The Ultimate Revelation
- was disrupted at noontime by persons unknown who overpowered and
- killed two security guards with their own weapons, sealed entrances to
- the building and evidently pumped an unkown gas into the premises that
- caused hallucinations and loss of control of bodily functions. Police
- investigations have commenced and details are presumed to be
- forthcoming.
- Church members claim that the persons may be the same ones that were
- responsible for the disappearance of Reverend Doyle on Sunday.

- An Underground Gas Explosion rocked the street (where Martin's
- office is - GM) last night but no damage or injuries occured except
- some minor rattling of windows. Gas Officials will be working on that
- area today and motorists are warned of traffic delays.

- A Body was discovered in San Jose in the early morning hours in a
- parking garage, which has yet to be identified. Police reports state
- that the victim is a white female in her early twenties. The Body had
- been severely slashed with a sharp implement. Robbery may be the
- motive, as the victim was found without property, but was not sexually
- assaulted. Police are investigating.

- Discussions are ongoing to raise the toll rates on the Richmond
- Bridge today starting today. Citizens of that area are encouraged to
- voice their opinions at a public hearing being held in Richmond's City
- Hall.

- The Oakland police officer that was arrested and arraigned on
- Tuesday for an assault on a local gay businessman has been released on
- bail pending a hearing in July. He remains on suspension with the police
- department until the hearing, when the police review board will
- decide his status. Civil trial of the case is expected to be set
- sometime in early September.

- Government Unemployment rates show a .5% drop nationally to a new
- five-year low of 6.3%, the current rate in CA remains at a flat 6%.
- President Rodham says that this is encouraging news and says that it
- shows her job growth initiative is starting to have visible effects
- on the economy. Unemployment was at its highest just before the
- President assumed office for her first term, at 11.2%

- A suspect has been found in the Bayoone NJ bombing of an abortion
- clinic on Wednesday. The suspect is a member of the organization
- 'Operation Rescue' and is being arraigned later today.

- A decapitated body was discovered in Redwood City of a black male
- in his late 40's. Police believe the crime committed with a sharp
- implement that made the attack in a single swipe. The body was
- discovered in the parking lot of a liquor store, which apparently had
- had its front windows smashed in by the unknown assailent. Police are
- investigating.
- Local press have declared it either the work of or a copy cat crime
- of the 'Head Hunter' serial killer that struck in Santa Cruz last year,
- leaving nine people dead and no suspect.

- Delays are expected on the Bart this weekend as work crews replace
- tracks damaged in last months 3.1 earthquake, but service will
- continue.

- A major traffic tie-up occured yesterday (SAT) when a Taxi cab
- stalled and collided with a passenger car on the Bay Bridge on the
- Oakland Bound lanes. Two additional cars collided, reducing the
- Frisco bound lanes to a single open lane and causing a minor electrical
- fire.
- Police and fire details as well as two ambulances and a police
- heliocopter responded to the scene and everything was dealt with in
- a mere two hours. No serious injuries were sustained to the passengers,
- except for the occupants of the Taxi, who are in satisfactory condition
- at the SF. General Hospital with minor injuries for overnight observation.

- Yet Another Armoured Car Robbery occured, this time in Kansas City,
- Kansas, fitting the pattern of the Nerve Gas Bombers. Gas masks proved
- ineffectual against the attack and left the guards as complete
- vegetables in their wake. $500,000 was their netted gain. FBI officials
- are reportedly hot on the trail of the robbers and expect an arrest
- shortly.

- A fatal fire occured in Alameda Last night shortly before midnight,
- leaving two dead and three familes homeless. Arson is suspected, but
- no arrests have been made.

- An antique store in Tiburon burned to the ground in an electrical
- fire Early this morning, with no loss of life or extended damage. The
- owner estimates $1,000,000.00 in loss from the contents, including
- a rare collection of 18th century hand carved clocks.

- Another victim of the Head Hunter was discovered just after twilight
- yesterday in San Bruno and police have put out a rough APB based on an
- eyewitness to the crime. It is rumored by inside sources in the state
- police that the killer may be a disgruntled postal employee.

- A mugger found the tables turned on him in Hunter's Point when an
- unidentified female victim left him unconscious and bleeding in the
- street on Saturday, according to police reports. The attacker, a
- black male in his mid twenties, was in possesion of a class B substance
- and an illegal bladed weapon. His victim turned assailent has not been
- identified (police claim she left the scene and they have only a
- minor witness to the incident) but has been praised on local radio and
- television for a job well done. Police are attempting to downplay her
- actions and are speaking out against vigilante justice.
