  1. ...So, I've got this great collection of midi files--wonder what
  2. they would sound like in Doom...
  3.  
  4. Here are just a few which I've converted to PWADs. They are for
  5. Doom 1.2 (registered) Episode 3, missions 1 thru 9.
  6.  
  7. They are/were all general midi files--sounded great on my
  8. Sound Canvas, don't know how they'll turn out on a Sound
  9. Blaster, etc.
  10.  
  11. I'll convert some more of my .MIDs if there's any interest...

  13. E3M1 1.WAD  Naked Gun theme
  14.    2 2.WAD  Darth Vader's theme from Star Wars (from the game)
  15.    3 3.WAD  Mission Impossible theme
  16.    4 4.WAD  Another One Bites the Dust, by Queen
  17.    5 5.WAD  Every Breath You Take, by String--I mean Sting.
  18.    6 6.WAD  Star Wars Theme (from the game)
  19.    7 7.WAD  Have You Ever Been Mellow, by Olivia Newton John :-)
  20.    8 8.WAD  Stairway to Heaven, by Led Zepplin
  21.    9 9.WAD  Hawii Five-O theme

  23. For those of you who don't know, copy the WADs to your Doom
  24. directory and:

  26. DOOM -devparm -file 1.WAD -wart 3 1 -skill 4
  27.  
  28. The above command will start Doom at episode 3, mission 1, ultra
  29. violent level and will use the music pwad 1.WAD.
  30.  
  31. DOOM -devparm -file 1.WAD 2.WAD 3.WAD etc. -wart 3 1 -skill 4
  32.  
  33. This command will start Doom at episode 3, mission 1, ultra
  34. violent level and will use the music pwads 1.WAD, 2.WAD, 3.WAD,
  35. etc. as you progress through the missions--probably the preferrable
  36. method.

  38. Gee, anyone know how to make several PWADs in to one PWAD?
