-
- This file contains recipes in Meal Master v.8 format. If you have an
- earlier version of Meal Master, please obtain version 8.
-
- This file contains a wide variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Many people
- today are unable to or choose not to consume alcohol. This file is to help
- suggest alternatives to alcoholic drinks (although alcohol can be added for
- those who prefer it).
-
- Some of the drinks are suitable for children, others are definitely only
- for adults. Many use fruit juices, others use dairy products, coffee or tea
- as a base. Some such as the punches are suitable for entertaining large
- groups, other recipes make a single drink or small number of drinks. I've
- included some hot drinks for cold winter days. Many use the blender, a few
- use the microwave oven. I've included a few low calorie and diabetic drinks
- as well. A few include less familiar ingredients (especially the ones in
- Indian drinks) but they are generally available at ethnic grocery stores.
- I've included some syrups which are bottled ahead of time as a base for a
- drink. Then sparkling water and ice are added to make a refreshing drink.
- (Lemonade syrup is the one the most people know but there are LOTS more.)
- I've also included suggestions for garnishes and an ice ring for punches.
-
- To import this file, unzip it in the directory where you have Meal Master.

- either manually or automatically.
-
- This file could not have been possible without the contributions of many
- online friends. If you have a modem, you may want to check out the cooking
- conferences of electronic bulletin boards. They are a great way of making
- new friends and swaping recipes.
