  1.      HSLINK PARAMETERS FOR TERMINATE TERMINALS:

  4. Hey GUYS! I can't believe it, I got the  bastard to work at full
  5. friggin speed both ways! In case you are still having slow bi-dirs here
  6. is how I finally got it to work:

  8. INIT STRING: AT&F^M~~AT%C1%E1S95=47^M
  9.              (AT&F resets modem to factory settings)(AT%C1 activates MNP5 data
  10.              compression)(%E1 activates auto-retrain)(s95=47 is just another
  11.              way the modem tells you what baud rate it's at)
  12.              These parameters are going to vary from modem to modem, so you
  13.              will need to find the similar commands to activate these features
  14.              on your own modem. (This Init String is for a HAYES compatible
  15.              BOCA 14.4 v32bis/v42bis)

  17. In the protocol options in terminate from the top of the menu:
  18.              Path: (must use complete path) IE:c:\terminat\protocol\hslink.exe
  19.              Ask at dl: NO
  20.              Change to u/l dir?: yes
  21.              Change to d/l dir?: yes
  22.              Batch?:  YES
  23.        UPLOAD PARMS: -P(your com) -I4 (THIS HELPED HUGELY!) -s4096 (subpacket
  24.        volume per send) -A -R(resume aborted file) -K -O(allows HSLINK to con-
  25.        tinue/overwrite partial file) -Uc:\"your download dir"
  26.        Download parms: Same as above
  27. I got 3300 transfer rate

  29. PS: In case the parms are confusing because of comments here it is
  30.      with no interruptions (-P2 -I4 -s4096 -A -R -K -O -Uc:\zip)
  31.      If you have trouble with this, I did have to fiddle with a few
  32.      terminate options as well, IE:no locked baud rate among other things.
