  12.     The WinOnLine Review Shareware Edition is distributed in the 
  13. Windows HELP (.HLP) file format and requires Windows 3.1.  To view
  14. the HELP file, simply unzip the contents of the ZIP file into its 
  15. own directory and double click on the file name xxxxxx.HLP. The 
  16. WOL.DLL, which is within the .ZIP file, must be in the same sub-
  17. directory as the .HLP file. Additional files will be created to 
  18. accompany the .HLP file whenever the xxxxxx.HLP is run.

  20.     If it does not automatically load into the WinHelp program then 
  21. you will need to associate the extension (.HLP) to that program.  
  22. You do that by locating the [extensions] section of your WIN.INI 
  23. file and add the following line to it:

  25.                           HLP=WINHELP.EXE ^.HLP
  26.  
  27.     After you add the above line, exit and restart Windows.
  28.  
  29.     Once you make that association you should not have to do it again.  
  30. You can now read all .HLP (HELP) files by simply clicking on them with 
  31. your mouse.

  33.     Another way to view our HELP file is to simple "RUN" the program
  34. WINHELP.EXE and load our file into it.
  35.  
  36.     First time readers and those new to the Windows Help system will
  37. find a readers' guide in the Table of Contents. Simply click on the
  38. magazine's Contents button at the top of the page to reach it.
