  19. Description             : RECANT is a fairly large level and is geared more
  20.               toward single play, although deathmatch and co-op are
  21.               of course supported. The water room took me forever
  22.               to put together, and the tower in the lava pit gave
  23.               me nightmares with the texture alignment (all done 
  24.               manually, folks<g>).  This was supposed to be a
  25.               much bigger level, actually (and may be someday),
  26.               but I'm worn thin and threadbare.  Still, there are
  27.               no loose ends here (I hope) -- and big levels, in
  28.               general, don't impress me.  They're a dime a dozen
  29.               these days.

  31.               I love to get e-mail, so send me any comments you
  32.               like about RECANT (as long as they're in good
  33.               taste and full of obsequious high praise).

  35. Instructions        : Put RECANT in your HERETIC directory, type
  36.               "heretic -file recant.wad -warp 1 1 -skill <#>"
  37.               (Or, to play advanced, skill 4, also put the file
  38.               RECANT.BAT in your DOOM directory and type
  39.               RECANT.)

  41. Modem Play        : Batch files for DIALing and ANSWERing are included
  42.               for your convenience, but you'll need to edit them
  43.               as far as phone numbers and com ports go.  Put
  44.               these in your HERETIC directory as well, and then
  45.               just type either "dial" or "answer."
  46.  
  47. Disclaimer        : I assume no responsibility for anything of any sort
  48.               in any way, shape, or form--now, then, henceforeward
  49.               in this life (or the next several) for any screw-ups
  50.               or even minor inconveniences this PWAD causes you,
