  9. If you are interested in translating Opera into

  14. THE BASICS

  17. A localized version of Opera consists of these components:
  18.  
  19. 1) The language file (that gets hard-coded into the .exe
  20.    file) and in which the menus, error and status messages as 
  21.    well as dialog boxes are listed.
  22.  
  23. 2) The HTML-based help files
  24.  
  25. 3) The Installation routine translation file 
  26.  
  27. 4) The licence text file
  28.  
  29. 5) Some other installation related files such as startup.txt 
  30.    & install.wri

  33. There are at present 25 files to be translated.
