  8. The Visual Basic Runtime Modules are required for many different
  9. Visual Basic applications for Windows. They need only be installed
  10. to your system once and then will be available for any number of
  11. Visual Basic Applications.

  13. The Visual Basic version number that is used to create the 
  14. application is important in that you'll need to assure the
  15. proper Runtime Modules are installed for that particular version
  16. of Visual Basic. See the documentations for the application in
  17. question to determine which version of the Visual Basic Runtime
  18. Modules is required.
