Author's notes :I've only had my computer for about 5 or 6 months, so I haven't had a chance to get a modem yet, but you can send me Email at
the university I attend on M,W,F at the address listed above. I don't check my mail every day, but I'll try to get back with you as soon as I can. I'd really like to hear what you think of my puds, and exchange tips and advice.
Description :This map is designed to look like a giant spider. The humans have captured your peasants, and are holding them just south of your lair. Of course this can only dealt with in one manner, destroy the human guards and take back your peasants. Then, use the peasants to construct a village in you lair, and launch an assault on the humans. Pretty basic stuff, leave no one alive.
Hints :This PUD, like many of my others, uses both Orcs and Humans for the player. Many upgrades apply to both, so there's no need to construct 2 blacksmiths, lumber mills, and you don't need both an Ogre mound and a stabes, just one or the other.
Additional Credits to :Phil Aylesworth, who created the "Hobbit" PUD. I didn't use his PUD as a basis for mine, but I did learn a lot about the rescue active mode from the "hobbit" PUD. If Phil is reading this, I'm a big Hobbit fan also. His PUD was by far the most imaginative and well thought out of the PUDs I found on the PC-Gamer CD-ROM. If there were better ones, I didn't see them because I don't have PK-Unzip. Oh, Phil, I'm glad you're not "brainless" anymore. If you want to contact Phil, his E-mail address is owenaust@mail.nitco.com If you don't understand the "brainless" crack, view the Hobbit PUD readme file, PC-Gamer CD-ROM 2.5.
