The server is called C3Server.exe
(or C3Server.class if you are using Java).
TO START THE GAME
- - - - - - - - -
Run sestate.exe. This will start BOTH the server and client.
Running a server allows you to play locally against the
computer as well as allowing others to play using your
machine. If you want to start just the client,
then run "sestate.exe -c".
If you are using the java version, run:
java com.triosoft.c3server.C3Server to start the server
java com.triosoft.c3client.C3Client to start the client
The client asks for a Host Name. You may leave it blank or
enter "localhost" if you wish to connect locally.
Enter your desired player Name in the Player Name field.
If you wish to play online using a server that is already
running, just run the client and enter the name of the server
running the game in the Host Name field.
A server will be running on www.triosoft.com from time to time.
If you would like to run a server for public use, please let us
know. Commercial use is forbidden (IE not free).
