  3.     Random MIDI and WAV Player for Windows '95 and Windows NT
  4.  
  5. RandoMedia is a MIDI/WAV player for Windows 95 and Windows NT.  RandoMedia plays 
  6. MIDI, WAV, either MIDI or WAV, or both formats simultaneously.  Select specific 
  7. files from anywhere on your machine, and play them either in the order you selected, 
  8. or in a totally random order.  Freeware, but donations always accepted :)

  11. Version Log:

  13.   Version 1.0  - First complete working version.
  14.  
  15.   Version 1.1  - Changed layout of file selection window.  The complete file 
  16.                  names of previously selected files can now be seen in their entirety.

  18.   Version 1.2  - Added an option to save the current configuration on exit.  RandoMedia
  19.                  now remembers what device was last used, and whether random and/or
  20.                  repeat play was selected.
  21.  
  22.   Version 1.3  - Added a feature which allows users to save the current list of selected
  23.                  files to disk.  This list can later be retrieved and played from memory.
  24.                - Setup now installs the RandoMedia shortcut to 
  25.                  Programs\Accessories\Multimedia.

  27.   Version 1.31 - Saves current working directory on exit.  Should have been in version 1.2,
  28.                  but I didn't think of it.  Not enough for a major version increase.

  30.   Version 1.4  - Fixed a bug that would cause the program to crash if you selected an
  31.                  invalid drive, or previously selected a drive that is now invalid.
  32.                - RandoMedia now minimizes to the system tray in Windows 95 and Windows NT
  33.                  4.0.  All navigation buttons, such as start/stop, prev, next, and
  34.                  reshuffle, are a right-click away.

  36.   Version 1.5  - RandoMedia now uses the Windows registry extensively.  All .rm files are
  37.                  associated with RandoMedia.  So, you can double-click a saved list file,
  38.                  and RandoMedia opens with the file's contents in memory.  Also, you can
  39.                  load a file's contents by specifying the file as a command-line
  40.                  parameter or by dragging-and-dropping the file onto RandoMedia or a
  41.                  RandoMedia shortcut.

  43.   Version 1.6  - Added a Random Reshuffle option.  This option is visible only if both
  44.                  Random Play and Repeat Play are on.  After a list has been played
  45.                  through, it will be reshuffled before playing again.
  46.                - Added "Up" and "Down" buttons to the File Selection window.  Allows the
  47.                  user to move files up and down in the 'select files' area.  Works best
  48.                  with Random Play off.
  49.                - Fixed Invalid Drive Error bug... again.  It really works this time.
