  1. Digital Dialect presents SANATA SLAYER, small freeware Xmas 3D Action game.

  3.    To play this game you need DirectX 3 installed on your computer. You
  4. can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/directx3/00000.htm
  5. (choose the nearest server from the list).
  6.  
  7.    In order to use 320x240 mode in full-screen (for best performance) you'll
  8. need to get DirectX 3a version 4.04 or higher. In previuos version there was
  9. bug in DirectDraw part preventing from correct switch to full screen in 
  10. low-res mode.

  14. A - Move forward
  15. Z - Move backward
  16. up arrow - turn upward
  17. down arrow - turn downward
  18. left arrow - turn left
  19. right arrow - turn right
  20. Ctrl - Fire pistols
  21. Space - Fire missile
  22. 1 - Select straight missile
  23. 2 - Select guided missile
  24. R - Toggle radar
  25. S - Toggle sound

  29. To play SANTA SLAYER in multiplayer mode you'll need to choose "Multiplayer" 
  30. button in initial "Select type of game" dialog box, then you will be asked
  31. to configure misceleniuos options. First of all, you need to select type
  32. of connection: modem, ipx (lan), tcp/ip (internet) or direct com-port 
  33. connection. Then, if you want to join existing game, press "List all games
  34. in progress" button, choose desired game from combo-box under "Game session"
  35. and press "Join". If you are going to create your own game session, you can 
  36. type it's title directly and press "Create" button. But do not forget to fill 
  37. out player name and optional additional info before starting. If you will
  38. die, exit game and restart it -- you can join same session as many time as you
  39. want. Have fun! :)
